Advanced Warfare is a Sci-Fi mod for Red Alert 3, however, realistic gameplay elements, which does _NOT_ imply scientific correctness, like tanks taking more damage on the rear than on the front or the sides, or normal tank shots killing infantry on one shot. The story takes place around the year 2700 after earth. (In our years, that's around 5600.)

The WMA's Raptor Drone's got a new job, as Infantry killer.

Posted by on

The "Raptor" Drone that has been presented a few months back is now no longer a small tank hunter. I've decided to reassign it as Infantry killer.

AD-2 "Raptor" Assault Drone. Cost: 3000$.

The Raptor drone is often used in recon or covert operations, due to its extremely low infrared and radar signature. It carriers a small microwave burst projector, which creates a region of extreme heat on the impact zone. Useful to clean garrisons and eliminate infantry. The AD2'S special ability is to drop into the ground, and build up a force field, that destroys any projectile based weapon that passes through it, and kills infantry too.

Well, that's all for now.
Stay tuned ;)

I must say you piqued my interest with your approach. But I have to ask, how different will the gameplay you're aiming for be in comparison to vanilla RA3?

Most importantly: No bases, in the classic sense. Everyone starts with a sort of mobile command vehicle, which you have to deploy near tech structures to capture them. Also, the gameplay is extremely tactical, kinda GCII like.

It is, but to capture landing sites, you need a specific unit, the MCP ;)
