I found the problem. In my infinite wisdom, I installed the DC campaign in the Soulstorm folder. It's working fine now
Game seems to crash when using the Tau Ethereal unit.
It's not Ethereal,game rarely crashes for Tau
Hello, I believe I found an issue.
I have tried to play "THE VANDEAN COAST" map that IG pre-owns and they have 'Strength 7' from game start. After trying to assault the territory on mission 2 as the Space Marines, I get a fatal error. I freshly installed Dark Crusade and deleted all previous saves/mods, same issue.
Checked Vandea Coast for SM vs IG, everything is working fine...so i can't help here

Looks like the issue was being caused by a fog distance map replacement pack I was using. Hoping after I finish the mission, I can go back to it. The clouds drive me nuts. XD

Getting a fatal scar error when attacking the Space Marine stronghold as Chaos.
It's strange, I tested SM stronghold and no fatal errors were noticed there..

No other mods, uninstalled both the mod and the game, still gave me the error. Not a big deal, just copied my save to the vanilla game and beat it there. This is the only issue I've had with your mod, so good stuff aside from this.

My DOW Gold could not detect the mod. Any idea whats missing?

Opsss I post in the wrong place. Anyway, I'm able to get the WA to see your mod (Not DC) but once activated. The error show failed to activate the game. I don't use any other mod and Gold is already fully patched to 1.51.
Ah, so it's simple. DoW & WA mod version for Soulstorm, not for original DoW
While playing as Tau, the game crashed when I attempt to attack The Janus Savannah (7) or The Van de Mar Mountains (10), both owned by the Necrons. The crash happends when the map has fully loaded or just as I click to start playing the map.
It's not depending of Necrons or maps
Tau the only race which can crash sometimes,I suppose problem in pathfinders,try to not use them too often
Update! I tried to play The Janus Savannah with different combinations of honor guard units and the map only failed to load if I had equipped the Heavy Gun Drone Squadron honor guard unit. When I played with them the map only crashed once and i think it was because the friendly AI tried to train a squad of them.
Update 2 ! I was able to play The Van de Mar Mountains again using different kinds of honor guard unit combinations. There is definetly some kind of error with the Heavy Gun Drone Squadron.
As I said It's not depending of map, I didn't notice these errors before, especially with load crash
But I'll take a look

I am playing an IG campaign, with Space Marines as my last enemy. But when I enter their boss battle, 'Fatal Scar Error shows up'. Please advise.

How to know if the mod for the campaign is activated?
If you have activated it in your "manage game" menu (between army painter and options), while on the main menu, on the top left corner of the screen is should say something like : Engine DOW 1.3, Dawn of WAr: Advanced Campaign 40.000k, Build 3107433.

В Довике как бы все полки относят к кадианским,так что все тихо,все спокойно.
Потому-что фракцию в Wa делали под кадианцев. А далее прямым, ведь, текстом говорят, что набирают и 1-й и 252-й из местных колхозников.
