Act On Instinct is a mod influenced by other mods like Contra, A Global Crisis and Shockwave. the mod has three objectives: - Make the factions distinct one from another - Create a more realistic experience without taking out the Zero Hour experience, in the form of adding real life units and adding real names to the existing ones - Bring back some CnC units from older games, so expect to see Mammoths, Apocalypses and Kirovs.
The most interesting unit here os the X-86 Mammoth, the most recent versión was built around the 2000s and was used during the Iraq war, the obsolete version,the X-66 Mammoth was built around the Vietnam War and was equipped with WP tank shells used against infantry
These tanks are primarly used for defensive purposes but the are also effective in frontal assaults.
