Today we present to you the pride of the Erusian ground forces, the M270 MLRS.
Having proven itself during the sweep across the continent in the early months of the war, the M270 gained a reputation as an outstanding support vehicle during the siege of Los Canas. During the battle, repeated attempts by Leopard 2's and infantry to break ISAF lines were constantly beaten back by entrenched M1A2 Abrams and other ISAF vehicles. On the 3rd day of the siege, M270 batteries were finally operational and rocket salvos were launched into the ruined city. It fell a short time later.
It should be noted however that the M270 lacks the armor and weapons to engage closer targets. Like all forms of artillery it is best set up behind the main lines, out of range of enemy MBT's. It is also very vulnerable to air attacks so keep AA guns stationed nearby.
Below you can see reconnaissance photos taken of M270 MLRS batteries in the suburbs of Los Canas firing on the city center and ports.
