This is a blast from the past! It was the last commercial add-on pack for Quake1 afaik... and nostalgia reigns!

Turns out there is still a HUGE fanbase, and Abyss is still as popular as it ever was which brought a smile to my face.

I'm making some time from a busy schedule to prep the mod for use on PocketPC which should be great considering how they are getting much faster and can actually handle Quake1 pretty well now. :D Give it a month or so, should be a no brainer.

Why does everyone refer to this the third/fourth mission pack? It's pretty badly designed in terms of levels, enemy placement, ammo placement and the custom weapons are kind of... Meh. The levels and custom textures did actually look nice tho. Overall I'd say that this was a bunch of wasted potential.

I've made a version with colored lights especially for the remastered version (but works in every modern source port like Quakespasm, Ironwail, VKquake, Darkplaces, Zircon etc..) but I don't know if would be legit to upload it here on moddb
