Nice but I still don't understand the balance with the Ottomans. If anything the Janissary Musketeers should behave similar to the other asian line infantries with low accuracy/reload, no technology formations (fire by rank etc) and maybe with a focus on melee like the russians, with the Nizam-I Cedid being their formal line on par with the europeans and the ability to use formations. That at least simulates their military modernization struggle. Or is your aim to make every nation more or less all on equal footing?
I could reconsider this, but of course I make compromises between historical accurate uniforms and gameplay balance. However, original vanilla game also gave the DLC Cairo Janissaries, Isarelys & elite Beylick Janissaries Musketeers square formations.
There is also a separate melee unit for the Janissaries.
Can you make the Streltsy ranged infantry, Sacrebleu? Since they were musketmen and all.
