An old and obscure treasure is now being dug up from the coffin to be reused of a old Redemption mod but to be recompiled for steam versions, so it isn't just used on old computers by CDROM, and bring that old experience of the 90s and the 2000s.
Well, since I'm new here I'll upload this lost "mod port" called Absolute Redemption: Mod Version/Version Comercial. What is it? It's actually the old Redemption mod but ported to Steam. It was made by Marverick Development in 1999 while eventually re-released in 2000 as Aboslute Redemption. Is almost the same thing except the PC Zone magazines were removed, the "Quake 2 map" which appeared at the beginning of the game was replaced by "Stonehenge" in commercial release, I guess they changed because of the copyright issues or something similar. Thanks to MarphyBlack for restoring this beauty (seen on this video: Youtube.com) and Trusty Crowbar for porting to Steam (and they fixed some bugs such as lightning effect). So if you want to take the good old experience from the CD-ROM this is for you and the same goes to the beginner. Have fun!
Edit from 12/08/2018: Updated the default models because I've forgot to put it.
I haven't downloaded yet, but am I right in guessing that it uses Quake 2 instead of Stonehenge and that annoying bouncy part from Half-life in Xen?
Sorry, I already wrote this as a guest, not realising I hadn't signed it.

I vaguely remember other small differences, I think there wasn't a hospital bit with the holograph woman.
Yes, there's the original Overhaul Xen part. And no, this version has no Gina Cross cameo.
I remember playing this one back in 2003 or so.
It's difficult for me to play this today without issues.
First I have to use console command to jump to the next level where you battle HECU grunts, as I don't know how to get it to work otherwise. Then when I remembered to destroy the dome holding a butterfly and the portal appeared (wish I was told to do this more clearly), the game crashes, saying:
"Mod_NumForName: models/roy.mdl not found"
I've updated with the default "Absolute Redemption models" now.
I have this problem: after the map rede1m5 does not fly a helicopter and there is a portal so I can jump. And if through the console I want to pass to the following card that there is an error: "Mod_NumForName: models/roy.mdl not found"
I will be glad if you help me, the mod is very interesting.
Weird, it worked pretty well in my computer, maybe it's just a glitch. If you donwload the default "Absolute Redemption" here or in RSTL try to get the "models" file and put it on your "redempt" file. That will work. And sorry for the long wait.
Where find HQ models weapons like a this screen ?
You mean this Glock model? It was from a old version of my HD Pack Redux from 2 years ago but I've lost it because old computer got broken, and I've changed to Beretta. I'm planing to release at this christmas (probably) since it's almost done.
Cool,i will waiting))
By the way, I didn't made the Glock model, RedSlug did it years ago and I've just edited it.
THIS VERSION IS BUGGED. I don't want to give away spoilers, but in the last mission, a door does not open the way it's supposed to. Please download the 2009 (oldest) version if you want it to work.
I extracted the zip files into the Half-life folder but it did not work c]:(
Это нерабочая версия с багнутыми скриптами. Нормальная есть вот тут: Runthinkshootlive.com

So, had a wonderful time playing that first McGuffin map; unfortunately the teleport out of the Himalayas doesn't seem to fire for me to progress the story past the crypt, and since I don't know what to look for it to for (I'm pretty sure I looked in every bit of that temple and found nothing, and looking online at walkthroughs it seems to just fire as you walk to that overlook after the crypt with the baby crabs).
Is there something at the beginning or is it just me, because at the beginning the security does not even do anything, so he just stands there for no reason!!
