Looks like shotgun
Maybe you can shoot bullets out from the upper hole.

Why it so broken?

I think it would be more 'effective without the U bend.

Thanks! But it's not supposed to be effective. A broken pipe isn't meant to kill someone. It's not even supposed to DAMAGE anything. So I guess it'll be the first weapon in the game. Now the sledgehammer, THAT will bash your brains out.
Yeah the Pipe in-game is really fast but only does around 10 damage, while the sledgehammer is really slow but does 50
I dunno that thing looks like it would be heavy, nice model though :D
It's a PVC pipe, which is light and weak if you try hitting some one with it.

Then the pipe needs to be redone
If its a metal pipe I agree it needs to be redone as it will still look plastic, If its going to be a PVC pipe then youll have to make it break after 1 or 2 uses as if I smashed myself in the head with this it would definately shatter, but wouldnt really get close to knocking me out. Even better just add the Scouts 'Bonk' as the SFX for the weapon hit, lol.
why redone? it looks like a metal pipe. but just like those ones that are small and that you find running along the sides of sewers
It look too smooth, most metal pipes you see in sewers still have dents and scratches in them especially if its been broken off like this one... :D

Yes that is a metal pipe but not a metal pipe thats either
A: rusted off the wall due to old age
B: blown off the wall by an explosion or
C: ripped off the wall by some steroid taking freak, lol
and dont forget
D: all of the above
Am only trying to contribute to making a more realistic metal pipe that looks like the one above (the damage etc) just with a bump map of rusted knobbles or scratches in it would make it look less clean as 'Clean' wouldnt go with the mapping style (which is awsome BTW)
but PVC pipes dont have those bumps, or whatever. those things that stickout as if it was connecting the pipe together. The name escapes me at this moment.

Not all, but they use it to connect two PVC pipes together.
well 1 PVC pipes is longer than the whole model, so it would make more sense if it was metal
