This mod has used Brytenwalda's source as a base to re-build upon. Be prepared to create your own house and challenge the Seven Kingdoms in this adaptation of Game of Thrones. A gritty world awaits you full of treachery and traitorous kings, lords and knights. I just re-updated this file with a small fix. I think around 50 people downloaded before I could catch it.
option to remove breaking weapons? Eh eh?
I like the idea of breaking weapons...but the sieges where it's just a wall of dudes punching the **** out of the attackers get old quick

I copy codes from the old mod version in menus.txt start with
menu_camp_cheat 0 Select_a_cheat: none 0 12 to line mno_cheat_increase_cloud 0
you need to copy all of them and put them the new version place

Where can a man find Ice?
Get some water, pour it in an ice cube tray, and slap that bad boy in the freezer. Then voila! You got some ice, my good sir!
if your lord of winterfell, go to the wierwood tree and thrs a chest that has it
Where can find all of valyrian swords?
if i remember rightly you go to a tavern and ask the person behind the bar you have to pay a small amount for the information :)
You can get some of the generic blades by speaking to tavern keeps, who will send you to a blacksmith in Qohor. If you have 500 renown, he will sell you a one-handed sword, or a two-handed sword, not both. The generic Valyrian bastard swords don't seem to be obtainable by normal means, despite being in the item list and having unique models and all that.
To get the named swords, you have to kill the person who has one. Otherwise you can find certain swords if you are the lord of the right place, I guess.
The last hotfix introduced a weird bug with factions banishing their lords. the script for finding a new faction isnt working so they are banished to the same faction over and over. this only started with 2.1. Could you please look into this Produno?

Really? Have you done that, because it doesn't really make sense in the context of the story.
It certainly doesn't. I'd rather kill Ilyn Payne for it, as he's the one holding the sword until it is reforged. And since that's how we obtain most other interesting items, it's a bummer to miss the opportunity to actually kill someone I WANT to kill (most characters with items that are worth getting are people I actually want to work with, not execute).
But the game's systems and certain mod features force some changes to the story and the world. For example, in this mod, Bronn and Pod never meet Tyrion or go on any of their adventures. Instead they end up wandering from tavern to tavern, waiting for the hero to speak to them. Why? So that they can be recruitable companions. It is what it is.

Right after the spyhunter quest for Lord Varys, for a very long time he just remains busy. is that suppose to happen?

not that I know of, unless I did something wrong in the spyhunter quest. was I suppose to take them prisoner after I defeated them or something?
Yes you were supposed to take them prisoner and take them back to Varys.
Thanks, tried it out today and it worked. Got one part of armor, now need to figure out how to get the helmet.

Why are these swords so randomnly strewn about the game? Ice, which is actually in possession of Ilyn Payne, is found at Winterfell. Yet Blackfyre, which is currently in the possession of no one, is with Dany?
I feel like Produno is punishing the playerbase for daring to question his choices regarding the 2.0 update. Want a cool sword? Kill the hero of the story! Want to kill a villain instead? Too bad, they don't have any items worth getting.
I wonder if anyone has answer - assuming i made few... tweaks to mod, added few troops and items (amongst others dragons from perisno, couldnt hold myself :P) here and there - if I copied entries from "troops" and "items" files, and pasted them after uptade - would my save work, and those troops were still there in game?
Or would I get "invalid troops number" error?
why is everything so dull and dark? like a permanent fog everywhere?
Good work, I had such high hopes for this update but removing the item finder is a little bit disappointing.
For a player like me who doesn't want to grind and just enjoy and make my own story and have a near limitless experience it makes me sad.
Still hoping that you'd bring it back.
He won't bring it back, but he will insult you for disagreeing with his decision to remove it. So...that's nice.
