This is the release of my concept, a torch in the dark. It could be turned into a full custom story, but I don't believe there's enough of an interest...

I really respect how your replying to people's comments I thought that It was interesting the puzzle totally got me and when I first saw It on moddb I was really intrigued so good work really hope you make this into a full version custom story <3

It could be interesting to expand on the concept, but I'm going to let it rest for now.
I do, however, have other ideas that I want to try out, so maybe you'll see other wacky stuff in the near future.

I liked the concept. It's a bit confusing how to do at the beginning, but it's a demo, not the final release, so it's ok.
Of course pressing the left button of the mouse for so long time, can be irritating and frustrating. It's ok for some levels, but not for the whole game.
Good job so far, waiting for further developments.

Yeah, with how the engine works, there's not a nice way to circumvent holding a torch, unless of course you made it into a lantern.
There's probably not going to be further development on this project, it was mostly to test out the concept.

I didn't like this demo. Some strange animation of the torch ignition... The light from the torch is much worse than from the lantern. You walk a lot in the dark. The detail of the rooms is very poor. A player can not throw the boxes...
The vertical ladder at the start of the game does not make sense at all, as the player cannot physically climb it.
I played for 5 minutes and did not receive a single task. And nobody attacked me.
Very boring...

I'm not sure if you mean when you light your own torch, or the torches on the walls. I agree it's a little strange that the torch falls onto the floor when you light it. I could probably make that better.

This is intentional. I find that the lantern gives off too much light, making it too easy to just have it out all the time. I want you to feel the darkness as you wander into it.

Yup. Intentional. With the torch you can mainly see what's close to you, and a little bit ahead.

I made this choice becase otherwise you'd be able to skip a puzzle by stacking boxes, which would not be intentional.

This is where the player came from. There's nothing up there. It makes perfect sense that you cannot climb it.

As the description says: "You're tasked with checking parts of an old sewer."
Simply put, you have to check the sewer out for yourself. You have to find the puzzles, and you have to solve them. No handholding.

Nope, there are no monsters in this custom story, other than the darkness.

What is the combination on levers? I really can't understand the puzzle here.
this is something i couldn't really figure out myself, and i've played quite a bunch of mods. although i didn't pay full attention to every detail, might just be my bad.

The main part of the puzzle is figuring out what "fathers in the sky" really means.
Yeah, I tried to understand it, but this time I didn't. It was short and sweet, I liked the concept. :) Great job!
