This pack contains a slightly modified titles.txt (I don't like using the game_text entity) and sentences.txt

This single player map throws you in at the deep-end, it helps if you have played Half-Life and Opposing Force before, and you must be able to do the duck jump (the one on the training course through the pipes) You will see a couple of bits that are familiar, and one tiny xen bit (literally about 3 rooms) Grunts will follow you into most areas, just be patient with them.

This is my first map for any game (I'm not saying this hoping for pity, just fact) Tested on a pII 400 with 128 MB ram and voodoo banshee, a p133 with 16 MB ram, no 3d card (yes, it can run on that sort of pc!) and a pII 233 with 64 MB ram, no 3d card, all ran fine (compared to how they would normally run), there were no problems with the r_speeds. I have also tested it on all three difficulties and it is possible to play.

Additional Tips:

Always try the retinal scanner yourself if there is no-one around to use it for you.

Not all tanks are enemy see the characters around them to work out which side they are on, and if they are enemy, remember that all tanks have a minimum firing range, so get in close. At that, their weak spots are around the turret.

Laser trip wires for sentries are not always visible in normal viewing, they may become more visible if an area contains a mist.

If you see and engineer there should be a door nearby for him to open.

Use whatever key you have bound to quicksave often.

If you ever are online and feel like telling me everything bad about the maps :-) I usually go under the name [FDRU]Boom Box, and often located at the bottom of the score board!

Prefabs used :none - I wanted it to be my work, and it took me ages to get some sequences like the tank and the air vent to work, and i hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them. I also loaded up the original maps in game and made sketches so that I could make an accurate representation of them when I recreated some areas.

Unzip the files in this archive. Place the maps in
your half-life/gearbox directory. Load up Opposing Force (using Custom game or whatever shortcut you have), make sure you run it with the -console command, select console, type skill (0-2) where 0=easy and 2=hard then type in the console "map opfor1"
