A complete overhaul of native that uses Floris Mod Pack as a baseline. Adds over 3000 new items, 500 new troops as well as an invasion system that allows 11 minor factions to create armies, take castles or towns and form a new faction.
Love floris, you'll love this.. Adds tons of new armor and new troop trees and such... Its like floris but extended.. Pretty good so far..............
I love the Floris mod, and this one makes it 10 x more interesting and down right hard (without breaking immersion). Sure there are bugs here and there and some things need to be polished, but I never had this much fun on a game to make me ignore those bugs. If you have played dozens of mods or the native for at least hundreds of hours then you know that it gets old. Try this mod and you'll surely be playing for another hundreds of hours... unless you give up early due to its difficulty ;)

I must have played 30+ mods of warband, and this is ultimately the best one ever.
I've had so much fun playing this mod, it made my summer between work. Love it in every way, except for the occassional performance issues. In a perfect world where it did not lag in the least or ever crash it is the perfect mod.
A really excellent mod, with all the colour, variety, and intensity of PoP or Perisno, just without the fantasy (not that fantasy's a bad thing.) The ability for minor factions to take castles is a huge bonus and though they rarely last long (the Crusaders being the exception which proves the rule), the amount of fun which they add is excellent. Good work so far, keep it up!

PEOPLE THIS IS BEST MOD i ever played
i will start with cons
-they are some annoying economic bugs that can be really painful at start of game and when you are short on money
-you have to spend a LOT of point in strength for using a decent equipment
-map is unstable especially in first year O_O but it get better later , lets call this mod death of great empires O_O
-DO NOT THINK of spending any point in DRAW
-i still cant understand how fief improvements work in this mod
anything else is so good and enjoyable
so for pros remember Floris and add so many new troops to it , better economy in late game , for once i had decent amount of money in this game and really feel like a king ;) , so many epic equipment , a lot of new factions and most important one NO LAG on map and very little lag on battles and i am using an ancient PC which is a bout 6-7 years old
i wish if it had a bigger map and all main faction kick *** criminals when they started they empire , GODDAMN slavers have a republic and almost destroyed nords O_O

This mod has a lot going for it, especially as a significant extension of the already well-known and very successful Floris mod pack that many Warband players use. Apart from the countless unique weapons, armor pieces, music, and so on, A New Dawn also adds interesting little factions, that gain a foothold in your game and compete against the Native factions.
The new factions (at least some of them) feel a tad bit OP, and because of this their aggression is a lot more of a pain than it probably was meant to be. There needs to be a bit of tweaking or the option to set their passiveness- something like that.
Personally, I feel there's a lot of potential from this mod, especially since the creator is active, friendly and overall competent and listens to the community. There's little bits and pieces that need tweaking, but they're far from game breaking. If you like Floris, Perisno, or Nova Aetas among the other mods out there, I'd highly suggest this.
Floris is a brilliant mod, and this just adds to it. It's fascinating to see what happens with regards to factions forming, and there is nothing that gets you on the edge of your seat more than a horde of juggernauts. The new items are very good as well, so this is definitely my favorite M&B mod.
