The Lamedon armour is partly inspired by the art of Robbie McSweeney, seen here: Artstation.com
Make sure to pay him a visit!
Our artist roman also helped construct this design, you will be seeing more of his work soon!

It's awesome to see a unit with a two handed great sword! The only unit that Gondor has with such feature. 2 handed from Lamedon, axemen from Lossarnach and you have a very destructive infantry!

Indeed, would make a great shock force duo!
We have a big update for Lossarnach coming up, people might dislike it though, depending how much they like the previous design:p

the sword on the left doesn't fit, the base of the blade is to thin and it makes it breakable, and thus a big weakeness and the pommel is to big but overall the armor is cool :)

The sword is much to thick to break, even at the base. Steel is very strong. And there are examples of similarly thin historical greatswords, not to mention sword tangs are often thinner than this despite taking much of the force.
The pommel on the other hand, could use a downsize.

The efficacy of greatswords throughout history is pretty hotly debated. That said I love the designs, very grounded in reality and not overly fantastic like quite a few other mods for the M&B games. Looking very much forwards to see what you guys cook up next!

Beautiful work. Moreover, I love the variety of flavours in the outfits of Gondor.

Description

The fiefdom of Lamedon provides heavy infantry, the only infantry in Gondor that focus on wielding greatswords. The Lamedon Knight pictured here are the most elite troop the fiefdom offers, often seen marching to war with their lord, Angbor.
