Played on 7.1 , raised my own Kingdom.
The Good:
Many characters from the book and show
The map is gorgeous
Stuffed with little mini-events that make this mod alive and give it genuine charm
The models are phenomenal for the most part
The scenes are beautiful, and mostly quite screen accurate. The other scenes are what you imagine in the book.
The difficulty is fair enough, bit challenging at first but as you progress you have a sense of growth and strength. Although be aware of Outlaws and Bandits as they get progressively larger too. 200+ parties of outlaws are common after about day 300ish.
Very faithful to the shows & books.
New models for stuff like bread to give it more individuality than other mods.
The new lighting system implemented is simply beautiful, genuinely so amazing. The scenes look great in the dawn sunrise or a foggy woodland battle. Idk how he did it but my hat is off to you for making Warband not look like ***.
You can roleplay as a Targaryen or Blackfyre with Valyrian hair and stuff.
The Targaryen invasion is very cool.
Replayability is fantastic.
Custom questlines are very fun and VERY rewarding.
The Bad:
Path-finding could be better
Many scenes have areas where troops cannot travel through. The ones I came across were the crossing, white harbor.
Also, the invisible walls are really annoying man, I get it for ladders kinda cus the AI is known for shoving you off but at some places, it got really obnoxious.
THERE ARE WAYYYY TOO MANY CRASHES. This mod is highly unstable, to not save every 5 minutes is ridiculous.
Also about the crashes, it happens 50% of the time after a siege or battle and some sieges have always resulted in a crash. This is straight-up unplayable at some points. Conquering Westerosos your biggest threat isn't the enemies but the crashing. This NEEDS fixing.
Many events are removed from version to version. I don't know why, cus they worked quite well. This involves the King's Landing guy, bunch of questlines, weapons, armour.
More of an odd gripe rather than a bad point but for some reason, there are several valyrian steel swords you can't obtain. If I spent as much time making these beautiful swords I would want people to have them lol. Although I can't complain at least you can use em in the cheat menu.
The companions are quite bland and boring, I would definitely like to see more characters from the books and shows accompanying you like AWOIAF. I mean travelling with Ser Barristen Selmy would be ******* boss.
Where is Daenarys!?
Where is Slaver's Bay?!
I don't mean to be greedy but they would've been cool to see...
The REALLY bad.
The creator. He is an ***. Rude, smug, condescending. Imagine Reddit personified. Go through his comments if you wanna see yourself. Dude, sort your **** out and listen to the critics.
TL:DR
A great mod, a flawed mod but great. I don't mean to be over the top with the bad cus I really do love the mod. I'm trying to be cruel to be kind.
To The creator: Don't ruin things by not heeding valid criticism. And if 1,000,000 people tell you that you are dead, then you are dead. If you get what I mean. We do have a point.
I was editing stuff from this mod on the Morgh’s Editor (as hardly any of the lower tier soldiers start with swords...) and noticed Ser Jaime Lannister as a sellsword in with Bloodbeard, is Jaime a lord or hireable lord in 7.1??
hey, just asking- does anyone recognize and/or know the name of "battle neutral 3"?
Having issues in Essos. Qohor has a horrible siege map, Draconys, and Mhysa Faer bug out when the option to ask to be awarded screen comes up. There's a castle north of Norvos that has the same issue. I'm also unsure why, as I receive no messages regarding the issue, but I've become the enemy of the Iron Born and Volantis, yet when I request to make peace with the faction leaders, they say they are unable.
Why would you play this instead of Awoiaf? this mod has worse texture and none of the feautures, and you can actually speak to the dev and is a good person not like this scumbag, btw he stopped developing this mod
Yeah i have the same problem, after i revolt to the westerland the game still recognise my character as a weterlander even i already made my own kingdom,my villagers runs from me all of the westerland rival faction still hunting me or running from me.

Please, i dont give a damn about your opinion until i tried it myself. Also its just very rude, and downright low of you to make slander against this or that mod author. I am pretty sure both mods are great, and caters to different tastes.
I personally has no interest in the GOT lore from book and has just watched the HBO series when the season 5 came out, and was just curious about trying out for fun. I probably downloaded more than 70 mods, and intend to try each of them.
So far I prefer TLD Overhaul, cause I just like the simple Good vs. Evil theme, and also loves the armour is so close to the movies.
But you dont see me go, and verbally insult anyone. You are very immature. Please, i understand your excitement, but please be respectfull towards people regardless how much you love AWOIAF.
I just personally like "LOTR" more in terms of armour design and the black and white romaticised perspective of good old fashioned "good vs evil" and less into the very sophisticated backstabbing world of intrigue and politics in GOT.
But sometimes id like some variation depending on my mood, and try different experiences, thats all.

OMG, i just asked for 8.0 to be uploaded to moddb aswell, instead of steam workshop only and then i find it all burried behind all this fanboy fanatism. I already have installed AWOIAF.
I want to try both, and i dont think in terms of "better" but different, as "better" is subjective opinion.
So please stop all this nonsense.

Coming here to Cozur's page to bash on his amazing mod and try to make awoiaf look better is beyond lowly. Acok is truly what a mod should be, changed almost everything from scratch and basically gave everyone a new game, a refreshing experience, for free. Awoiaf was released later and it's one of the most terrible mods i have ever played, yet i don't try to disdain people from playing it or try to get people to play something else in it's favor. Awoiaf is mostly stolen assets from acok and other mods, and it looks very unpolished and it's really unbalanced. I could start listing the bad things, and they would easily outnumber the good ones. And for those who don't want to believe that it has stolen almost everything from acok, here's proof. In one of acok's earlier versions you could buy salt from saltplans for about 50-70 silver and sell it for about 250. In awoiaf you have the same script, the exact price for salt as in this mod. That's just one example, could be conincidence, but there's more "coincidences" like this. The textures in awoiaf look disgusting, troop trees feel unfinished, the music is terrible, some of the worst i've ever heard, bandit parties are a joke, you can find robber knights everywhere, even in essos, thus being one of the most painful warband experiences i've ever had. With all this, play what you like, everyone has their own preferences, but don't come here to hate on the mod that started it all.
You dont try and disdain people from playing it yet you make accusations and create rumours that it is mostly stolen assets from ACoK and other mods? Yet your only proof is that saltpans in AWoIaF also has cheap salt?! Do you even know the lore of saltpans?? I guess we also stolen assets because we use the same factions or npc names? ... though im eager to hear those other ‘coincidences’.
You should talk to people who are throwing dirt at a mod and trying to make it look bad, only to advertise for another mod. People are ridiculously ungrateful and childish, what i was trying to say is that everyone gets these mods for free, and these could very well be standalones, because they add so much stuff that they are basically new games. That's what really upset me, the ungratefulness of unsatisfiable manchilds. And what i said about your mod is true, its a cheap rip off. You even admitted in a video that ypu started the mod by modifying a clash of kings after your own liking.
If your english skills are not very good, go learn instead of spreading false information. AWoIaF was started by modifying Brytenwalda, not ACoK.
Yeah, I don't get the appeal of AWOIAF, it doesnt feel as...deep. Could always change though, its modding! But it felt a lot more vanilla than ACOK does. Like yeah, there may be some lack of response between the mod team and the fans for ACOK, but ive played this since 2014....can't say theres ever been a version to disappoint me
Great thing about modding is that things can always be expanded though, depending on Cozur's plans, AWOIAF for Bannerlord could be the dream
I think that's only an illusion or well, a really good illusion that is about the only thing ACOK does better. It is built upon the more fiting foundations of Floris, and ACOK makes much, much better use of OSP packs. Everything else I'd give an upper hand to AWOIAF. Though I have to give credit to Cozur for some of the quests, they are reallly immersive.
The problem wth Cozur is that for each version of the mod he makes one step forward and three steps back. He literally ruined the economy and any point of progression by making everything cheap. He is literally an idiot.
