Tofu Zombies is a mod I created a long time ago, as a merge between the other 2142 zombie mods, but eventually grew into my own mod, and I removed the content from the other mods.
The mod includes:
-New Zombie Weapons by me.
-A new game mode: 'Infection' (Special Thanks to Frosted Freeze [Freeze 18] for creating this python for me. I couldn't have this game mode without your help :D)!
-A load of community made custom maps (Not taken from other mods. Found on various sites for use by anyone).
-New Skins by me.
-A new skinned menu and new menu, loading, win, and loss music.

This mod gives zombies realistic weapons (no flame throwing hands, or laser shooting mouths) but also gives them unique weapons (claws, and the different knives). The survivors have kits built around giving each different kit a tactical advantage over the others. When playing as a squad against a large number of zombies in a high zombie ticket game, your squad will succeed best and be the most effective with an equal balance of kits. You can't defend yourself well without using the sniper and engineer kits, and without support and medic you will all die or run out of ammo. The aim of my mod is to give a more realistic experience and difficulty, not just a bunch of chaotic zombie slaughters. And that is what sets this mod apart from the other 2142 zombie mods.
NOTE:
I have had many people tell me that the mod crashes a while they are
playing, the fix for all of them has been the same. READ THE README!
So be sure to read the readme if the mod crashes a lot and make sure
you are setting up a game correctly!! If you already deleted the

Hello everyone,
I'm not sure who all is active in the 2142 modding community here on Moddb anymore, and I'm not sure if anyone will even see this, but I figured I'd share anyways. I recently had some free time and an urge to fire up 2142 and my old mod, but I had forgotten about the Gamespy shutdown and realized, to my disappointment, that I could not play... So I fixed it.
I had previously read about the DeathLok clan managing to setup and run their own emulated version of the EA Master Server for 2142, and while that seemed like an adequate fix for the time being I figured it would only be a matter of time before that server goes dark as well. So I did some research into how I might be able to fix the game myself to allow for booting into offline mode (without needing to first disable your internet connection) and after a few attempts I managed to make the necessary edits to the 2142 executable to achieve my goal.
I'm not going to upload my fix just yet as I'm still doing some testing to make sure it is working, but I plan to release here shortly. I will likely upload a new version of the mod that is a complete package so that it is no longer necessary to install the patch and this new version will come bundled with my 2142 offline only fix. I will also upload the fix sperately, because I know it will be useful to people who don't want to play this mod.
I hope that this fix will allow anyone who wants to continue to play this game to do so long into the future! Battle on!

I purposely set sentry guns to last for only a short period of time because they are really over-powered against zombies, and cannot be destroyed by them either.
the problem is fixt with me...if you got this problem, here is a tip to fix it: 1. start the mod
2. go to multiplayer
3. go to local
4. do ''create''
5. change the gamemode to ''zombie''
6. add some maps
7. press ''start server''
8. wait for the map is loaded
9. kill some zombies

hey...excellent mod i have only a question i was playing in singleplayer and multiplayer...but when i start winning territory me (1) zombies (47)or more...over the zombies..the half of the zombies,change their side into EU or survivors...then a minute after, the game crash.
can you help me?
That's an odd bug that also happened to me every once in awhile and I could never figure out how to fix it.. If you're playing Infection, try normal, and if not, try infection.. Though I don't really know much more of a fix than that... sorry. :(
