This graphics mod uses Reshade and MasterEffect. I try to replace the lack of lightning with bloom. The colour is corrected and the image is sharpened. It works with every map, all stock maps are playable very well.
My graphics mod for Battlefront II (pre-release version).

This looks awesome! :D
how to install?
Overall I think it's a little overbloomed and oversaturated on several maps,
which distorts the STAR WARS like look and feel of Battlefront II ;)
Yes, the bloom is a bit problematic sometimes. Saturation is perfect, at least on my monitor.
Hm, I think, that this is a thing of personal preference ... I like a more cinematic look, like it was done in Battlefront (2015) :D
By 'oversaturated' I mean, that the overall look is a little too colorful on certain maps ;)
But you inspired me, to make a Reshade preset on my own, where I tried to mimic that cinematic look for both of the classic Battlefront games ... would be an honor, if you could take a look and tell me what you think:
I puplished it on Moddb.com
Ah yes I saw it, changes almost nothing, but there are some improvements. One point: Battlefront uses MSAA, of course that is better then SMAA which comes with Reshade (only SSAA is better) if you don't regard the performance cost, and to be honest who does that when playing Battlefront II.
Does the depth buffer work for you?
However the main problem without saturation are the lightsabers and beams who look not really Star Wars like in the original.
It depends on the map you are playing on ;)
If you play eg. Dagobah, it'll change not as much as if you play on Mos Eisley, where it makes the game look more like an hot desert town than the stock FX does :D
It doesn't 'force-change' the whole FX (because of the selective and dynamic nature of the cinematic filter), instead it changes several details depending on the situation (desaturating or lighting up certain zones).
So you could say, it adds some more cinematic atmosphere to some maps, where it isn't as good as it could be :D
