The CTW versions of the mod will let you play campaigns and use the editor to create scenarios with mod features (units, buildings, etc.).
There are two CTW versions, one for RON TaP and one for RON EE.
This because the data files are in different folders and you have to select the right one for your RON version.

exactly I don't understand what you mean, if you found a bug I need to know your settings (nations, age, etc.).
Apologies that was made in haste. I haven't played it in a while now, but I remember I selected the ages it told me to (the 'start in' and 'end in' age settings). Basically, after a certain amount of stuff was researched, all the units from the factory dissapeared when I clicked on it and could no longer be built for some reason. Initially it had a bunch of different units, but eventually it became blank and the building could no longer build anything.

So awesome.. i hope you have multiple ships for all years of the war for all nations involved! Not just going straight to top class BB's or CA's etc.. the more the merrier!
Also .. any chance the B-17, or P47 coming in? Could be specific year wise.

RON has a limited number of available units and it's impossible to increase it.
Right now there are just two or three free slots, but we didn't choose how to use them yet.
Anyway, some battleships are available only in the year they entered in service.
Absolutely loved this mod, Only problem is that the tanks hardly did any damage :l They look great though

It's made on purpose, to damage buildings you need artillery or bombers.

How to play this mod

To play this mod you need to select "solo game/multiplayer game" then "quick battle".
In the quick battle menu on your right open the scroll down menu "Game Mods" and select "1939-1945 SGW mod". Now you can click on "Start".

I am having issues with the latest update of this mod, it starts to crash in the middle of a game (haven't gotten past 1942)

I'm wondering if you have anything that might fix it, i tried running as administrator, compability mode, installing MSXML 4.0 sp2, reinstalling (twice, one time removing registry files) and im out of ideas...
I use Extended Edition if that might be the issue...

you should use the EE mod version from the Steam Workshop:

RON EE has a different structure from original RON TaP and the mods are not stored in the "Mods" directory anymore, but loaded subscribing them in the Workshop.
The mod version downloaded from MODDB is working only with the original RON TaP.

ok, something is wrong, pressing the subscribe button does not work, is there a way i can get the files and manually install it? I just want to get it working... T_T
I also prefer installing mods manually, so if there's any chance i can get the extended edition mod in a .zip file i would rather have that, if that is okay...

Usually after subscribing a mod it will be downloaded the next time you run Steam.
The mod is quite big and it can take a while.
If it's not working run Steam, browse the RON EE workshop and select the mod version uploaded by lord R. Wadis, subscribe it.
You should see the progress of the dowload down in your screen.
I'm not sure that a manual installation will work.
