I like the use of the voices where appropriate and using the AoM voice lines for the Greek civ's. The Egyptians are a little off with the standard AoE1 voices though, I would have thought the AoM voices would have worked for them too?

I don't know if I'm being stupid here but I can't seem to find any of the new weapons and a lot of the new attachments, I've seen the 'tactikill' ammo and the suppressor for the DSG, just nothing else :/

Are you guys going to consider the RPD aswell, or is that too modern or doesn't fit in the time scale? (seeing as mass roll out was quite late even though the weapon was finished in '44)

Found a way for steam users to play it you have to get the ui to start up like C&C3

So make a shortcut of the RA3 exe and add -ui to it (or set on the launch options on steam) then the additional launcg screen comes up go to game browser then mods then you should launch it

The AK47 is by no means a complicated weapon it has a much simpler construction to that of the STG 44, even though their basis for their own assault rifle prototypes was not based on the STG 44 strictly speaking.

Besides that two things come to mind, Its 1949 so that's a lot of time for the Russians to get production into safe areas (after all how could they build IS-3's) also the pace of technology is always faster in times of war.

Well that's not completely true about the post war part at least, The soviets had designs for assault rifles as early as 1944 (admittedly still inspired of the german assault rifles but not the STG 44 but the MKb.42(H)) and the AK design developed from these first russian attempts at assault rifles.
