I don't get how you would see this being an expansion to Chivalry, almost everything is different other than the fact that it is a sort of a melee game. The artstyle and gameplay are imcompromisable, and I think that is good.
PVKII caters for people who want to have fun, and Chivalry for the people who want clunky animations (ok, that was unfair of me).
No, it is all multiplayer. Also no grogbots for regular players to playa round with. But you won't need them anyway, just hop in a server and have a blast.

Perfect Parrying is in the current version TOO rewarding, attacking is almost useless against people who can PP at a consistent rate. In 2.3 the balance between defending and attacking is going to be better, which means the counter attack will be less effective.
Troll some more, PVKII is quality first instead of what AoC did.
I think the mod won't be automatically put in the games tab as uninstalled,
but you have to go to the store > mods > PVKII and then press install mod or whatever.

Several Devs said that there will only be the Gestir when 2.3 is released, otherwise it would take even longer to finish the update. Now they give updates when everything is ready they planned.But they can release faster when 2.3 is released with Steamworks, because no one needs to manually update their versions. So they can release separate things as soon as they are ready.
