Why didn't you upload it to workshop?

The 100$ is definitely really ****** for quality mods (well, judging by screenshots). Maybe if you e-mail Valve, explain in great detail why you should deserve a spot on greenlight, they might give you a free pass, since, you know, the people that submit the mod aren't getting paid a dime. You also probably first need to be like 90% done and have bunch of cool stuff to show off.

One of the best HL2 mods this year? Absolutely.

Really loved the balance between combat, horror and bit of puzzles. Everything just clicked together perfectly.

Wait..there will be official Steamworks version? As in, this mode being released on Steam?

What are you guys working on commercially? What game should I look forward to :) If it even is a game.

The last sections were really disappointing.

The neurotoxin floor didn't seem to have any rhyme or reason behind it so I had to noclip past it. And the last laser battle was just frustrating so I had to godmode it. BUT, still giving this mod a 10/10

This isn't just the best HL1 mod, this is one of the best mods ever created!
I can't believe I'm actually saying this since I absolutely HATED Afraid of Monsters.

It is also impressive how balanced the overall game is. Challenging yet fair. And they give you only slight hints as what you have to do. Instead of spelling out everything like you are some sort of an idiot CoD player.

Got confused there for a second, thought I was looking at a Source mod

Didn't want to install CW for a single mod, so excellent news!

Man, this might be the most disappointing mod of the year.

The content that is created for the mod is absolutely amazing but the actual ''playing'' part is just beyond awful. It just is not fun at any point. I can understand that they did not want to create a fast action zombie game like L4D but at least it is FUN, exciting and interesting to play.

Will there be persistent ranking (ala Battlefield) or the XP/rank is per single match only?

So, this ''game'' sucks because:
-Unique looking female model
-Hammer animation which looks fine
-Naked women? (even though they are not naked)
-A poster that fits the game theme
-The voice acting. For a free HL2 mod

FOREVER ALONE.

But whats the point if they are LOCKED(rent only) dedi servers? Almost no customization options or custom mods and no user hosted servers, JUST LIKE BLACK OPS.

I wish this mod would have a persistent leveling system. Nothing stupid like Call Of Duty perks/unlocks. Just a rank sign near your name.

But..where is it? Somewhere buried? The MODS section has been removed and there isnt really a way to view all the steamworks HL2 mods anymore.

Can you please disable the annoying ''press start'' after every single death or make an option under advance settings ''auto-respawn''?

Sure, it may sound trivial (or just pointless whining) but to me its so infuriating that I dont want to continue playing the mod.
