I'll try to fix it if I've got more time... (I just made its build-up animation that take quite a lot of time)

The art assets would be gradually updated with time (and when I got time :P)

I tried to keep the technical risks lower by updating the game little by little, lest it fails in some undetectable manners (a way I found especially useful when introducing new logic or complex weapons). And the updating of art assets are of the same, a bit by a bit :)

Oh, one thing, it would be blocked by terrain. So, if your helicopter or aircraft use the terrain as cover, it would not be able to fire at you!

The aircraft in game and shown can carry a load of 12 R-77 medium range air-to-air missiles, capable of reaching a max range of 110 km, a max mach number of mach 4, carrying a blast fragmentation warhead of 22 kg.

The aircraft utilizes self-protection jammers to deter enemy radar guided missiles by digitally memorizing the radar frequency of the enemy fighter and return with bombarding signals to confuse the incoming missile. This, combined with towed decoys, can significantly alter the tide of battle: as the self-protection systems can now deny the advantage held by stealthy fighters, as portrayed in the idea of first see first kill. When the first wave of attack from the stealthy opponents are denied, in the fast approaching air combat scenario, within seconds, the two sides would approach the range which OLS-35 can pick out enemy fighters, now the fight would be an even one: the Su-35 can now launch either radar guided or IR-guided medium range missiles at steath fighters, or it can choose to close in and use its kinematic advantage to fight its opponent in a turning fight. The structure improvements of the aircraft allows the aircraft to endure a maximum loading of ~14 G, which is significant in an scenario in a turning fight, as it means the aircraft can endure sharper maneuvers than its opponents and obtain an edge. Another benefit form its improved structure is its higher payload, now 8000 kg on 14 hardpoints (basic Su-27 has 6000 kg and 10 hardpoints ). This combined with higher fuel load of 11500 kg (Su-27 has 9400 kg) which means lesser requirement of external fuel tanks, gives the aircraft significantly improved weapon carrying capabilities.

Hi~!
I am Yue-Li Lee, the mod developer of A General's Game.
As mentioned in your previous posts in the comments, you are expecting new Infantry additions.

However, I am not very familiar with Infantry weapons and tactics, as I am mostly concerned about Naval and Aviation weaponry and tactics.

Would you give me some suggestions on the infantry addition? A source to the information of weaponry or place to download infantry SHP would be great! (I am not an expert in making SHP infantry.......so gaining art assets would be a big hurdle for me!)

The mod would be in constant update, please be sure to check future versions. As a lot of work in the mod actually went into the coding of new game play logics (like air-to-air patrolling fighters, anti-submarine helicopters, terrain following, controllable, interceptable cruise and anti-ship missiles)

Hmmmm. I think it maybe a previous mod issue.
Do you have any other mods installed?
If so, there might be a problem.
There are several scenarios:
1.you have something like expandmdxx.mix with xx= some number like 88 or 98 which is larger than the expandmd77.mix's 77 and thus overrides the expandmd77.mix which I used to store the mod's files. And for ecache77.mix the scenario is the same. The fix is either backup the previous mod mix files with xx larger than 77 and remove them from the RA2 folder, or rename the expandmd77.mix and ecachemd77.mix's 77 to something larger than any other numbers in the form expandmdxx.mix or ecachemdxx.mix (the second method is not recommended as it requires manual uninstalling of the mod A General's Game)

2.you have rulesmd.ini artmd.ini or aimd.ini and ra2md.csf in the folder, the contents of which would override anything in the mod which is stored in the mix files. The fix would be back up the ini & csf files and remove them from the RA2 folder.

3.A simpler fix is to back up your original RA2 folder, and make a clean installment of the game and the mod, then I suspect it would work as expected.
