I'm fairly new to modding, but I have been getting the hang of it bit by bit by myself. Though I still have quite a bit to learn and programs to collect before I make a worthwhile mod. I am a big Anime-type of guy, and am the author/artist to a manga called Praigaku.

Not at all, the mod is still being worked on, but there is only one person responsible for it - so you can imagine that they don't have too much time to work on it. Tuna42 did place a permanent Discord invitation in the description, where you can keep more up to date track of the progress. Discord is free, and doesn't change anything in your computer - it's just a more organized forum.

Alrighty, so a few years ago I found out that setting mods into a Mod Folder does not activate the mods in the retail version. The way I took care of this to play mods was a bit convoluted, but it WILL work.

First off, create a EAW:FC Backup Folder. Your game should be in a folder in your Program Files. Open your game folder, and take the DATA Folder out, and place it in your EAW:FC Backup Folder.

Then open the folder containing the Mod, and place its Data Folder in the main game folder, replacing the one you just took out. This method prevents you from accidentally over-writing important vanilla game files.

Now, mind you, this is NOT the most effective method. There should be actual Mod Launchers out there for the retail Gold Pack that allow you to choose mods you want to activate, but it's been a long time since I've seen them.

If you want to return your game to its original state, just take the Data Folders you moved, and put them back where they belong. But do NOT try to have both data folders in the same place at the same time. You WILL cause the folders to combine, and that will mess up your game.

Note to self (and others): Do NOT fight Rey near ANY drop offs or ledges, hahaha! Great work all, it was definitely worth the wait!

All these era's to cover - it's really no wonder you need so much time for this mod. The sheer number of modelling, coding, scripting, and just overall planning is unreal. By the time this mod is finished, it may as well be it's own game!

I've said it several times before, and I'll say it again - I very much look forward to playing this once it is completed.

I continually forget that Revan and Malak found the blueprints to these ships on Yavin IV, and had the Star Forge build them.

It's going to be fun to throw these units at the Republic forces, keeping them busy while maneuvering the really hard hitters into position. They lack shields, so Derriphans are going to get swatted down often, but they'll serve as an excellent distraction for the AI.

Yuichi - - 126 comments @ Revan's Centurion (Mandalorian Wars)

I'm very glad to see that Revan will be receiving a Centurion-class Battlecruiser. The only thing ever mentioned about Revan's flagship, is that it was enormous in size (even though KotoR used an Interdictor Cruiser for the cutscene).

Since Revan was the Supreme Commander of the Republic Forces, it makes sense that the new Command ship that was designed to replace the Inexpugnable-class Command Ship would be his flagship during the tail-end of the Mandalorian Wars. It's been a long wait, but it's been clear from the start that this mod will be WELL worth the wait.

Aaaaalrighty, so after testing out the map, I can tell you that I very much enjoyed it. There are a few severe choke points where, if you can get there first and hold it, allows you to mow the other team down. But for the love of all things, do NOT get caught in the open. You'll get blasted from so many directions you won't even know what to do.

I look forward to the full release!

While it is true that this particular mod does not have a public release beyond the alpha yet, the team is also responsible for multiple other large-scale mods. The mod isn't complete yet, and I'd rather wait for a full release over a buggy beta. It's already been a LOOOONG wait, but the team does not owe anyone anything whatsoever - modders create content out of their own desire to create and share.

It still has potential. It's just a matter of waiting for the release.

*makes comparisons* Well, in that matter I'll have to retract my statement then. The proof seems to be in the pudding, so to speak. But this is what I mean't as well, you provided the screenshots to prove your point, but not at first. If you had linked these images in your first post, then I couldn't have had anything to say about it.

So I suppose it comes down to how the matter is approached. You are justifiably miffed, but showing why you have the concern works FAR better than just the statement of it.

I'm not on the mod creator's dev team, but even I can see that your comment is BS. You're accusing them of taking models? Ok - but you say NOTHING about what models you are talking about, nothing about who you claim they were taken from, nor do you give any reason whatsoever as to why you believe in your accusation.

Stop trying to cause unnecessary drama across the board. You accuse TOO many people, TOO often for anything you say to be regarded as anything but malicious intent.

Bah, the Kaminoan facilities take too long to clone. Get some Spaarti Cylinders from Mount Tantiss and you'll spam clones faster than the Star Forge builds starfighters.

Ah classic Warb_Null. His models are always a delight. It's a real treat to start seeing his models being converted over from Empire at War into other Star Wars game mods. Though I imagine the real difficulty will be carving out and establishing the interior of the vessel.

I've been enjoying the mod so far, it's been well thought out and the effort on the various models and mechanics is appreciated in mods like this. However, I constantly have a problem with the save files. After an hour of play, the game crashes and the save files corrupt; making it impossible to pick up where I left off before the crash.

The computer I use has a terabyte of space, so that's not the issue. I tried this version, and the Steam version, but the one hour crash happens no matter what (But only in Galactic Conquest). Any recommendations?

I seem to be having a problem; the mod crashes without completing the startup. I keep getting messages about Mini Dump or something. I have it correctly placed in the proper folder, along with other mods. Of course, I deactivate other mods before trying to launch this one, but it still crashes. I would very much like to try Interregnum, but I need a bit of help getting around this Mini Dump issue first.

While I very much am enjoying the Mod, only one thing stands out; playing as the Imperial Remnant, I noticed that the New Republic builds ships and structures much more quickly. By the time I have my third planet under control, they have five. And no later than one hour into the game, their full fleet, some twenty odd ships, bull rush the nearest planet. At first, I thought it was the difficulty setting; but even on the lowest setting, this occurred. What are your thoughts on the matter?

I've been checking back to this mod for two years. YEARS. The Space Alpha was fun for a while (though I did my own recoding to deal with some balancing issues and over-spawning of starfighters) but I, and probably everyone else watching this mod as well, would like a playable update. Obviously, the mod is not finished, but trying out the changes you've made for ourselves would likely help things along. Finding bugs, missing text/textures, whatever the case, we'd still like to experience what you have developed over these two years.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic in any way, I just want to see what you have accomplished. The Alpha was fun, and the limited ground units were neat to see, but a playable update would help convince me that the mod is still worth watching.

Is there a chance that you will be adding the Resurgence-class Star Destroyer? If the quality of your other ships are any indication, I'm betting it would look incredible in Stellaris.

Heyo, been watching a youtuber called TheXPGamers playing this mod. It's come a long way since I played it a few years or so ago. The only issue I ran into back then was lag from the capital ships spawning hundreds of starfighters. Then again, my old laptop might not have been able to handle it anyway. It's looking good, and I may pick it up again and see how I fair.

My guess would be that they are saying that they want you to port models from KOTOR 2. But knowing that you make all of your own models, it's a needless request. Besides, the models you and the others make yourselves are higher quality visually than what can be ported from the games.

I love this mod. I RP online, and my Sith character leads the Black Sun. So all I had to do was take the Dark Acolytes already in the game and re-code one as a new Named Hero Unit. Making him the faction leader proved a little more difficult, at first any way.

I had to do a few more edits to improve my odds in combat against the Empire and the Rebellion, but nothing major. Anyway, awesome mod! :D
