Besides being better value in terms of reinforcement count, the troopers themselves are cosmetic changes.

My only concern is if the game engine can hold the number of individual units when you switch to clone wars models because the troopers are not in groups anymore from my understanding.

I think acclamator 2 has slightly different hardpoints and stronger weapons/shields in general.

To be fair, the CIS early game relies on lucrehulk ships for fighters. At tech level one, the CIS has NO fighters except for ones from lucrehulks, while the republic has acclamators.

I do like your ideas. If you're looking to make some modifications, you could always edit the xml files to change things up a bit.

I would also recommend playing Nojembre's fan-based submod for republic at war. It increases the land battle points, nerfs buzz droids/rebalances some units, adds enhanced space lasers, and adds a couple planets/units/heroes. I've included a link for a list of changes there.

Thanks. I assume then it would take a bit more manual control to, for example, have only your bigger ships fire on a target (because you would have to reselect your fighter targets to continue fighter-on-fighter engagements) but it does seem quite powerful and useful!

Quick question: what does the 'Concentrate fire' ability actually do? Does it affect only the hardpoints of the "command ship" (ie. Yularen/Trench) or does it affect the surrounding ships as well? If so, is there an "effect radius" that the ability works in and does it affect fighters and bombers?

TLDR is it any different than using 'fire all batteries' and manually selecting a target?
Thanks for the help.

Like GawainOfDeath stated - Control Tatooine for Sabaoth ships.
For magna guards, land general grievous (past tech 4) on a planet, and he will be surrounded with a group of guards (similarly, hyena bombers only accompany Admiral Trench)

Hello! I love playing the mod and just noticed one thing:
the super tank thinks that its range is more than it actually is - hence when under 'attack move' or when attacking a target, it will consistently deploy and fire short of its target.

As a CIS player, I can tell republic players to just ignore every other unit and just spam ATAPs if you want to win (and maybe speeder bikes for sight) because they have insane range and power.

Hello
I was wondering if it was just me, or do republic AT AP walkers have much more health than before? Whenever I face them, they're much harder to take out than the ATTEs for some reason.

Hello
I'm wondering if it's just me, or can CIS players not build the supertank in GC? I'm at tech 5 with the heavy factory (see image below)

Quick question: which ships produce the hyena bombers? I know Trench's does, but do any others?

That feeling when the AI makes a tech 4 ssd when the game is tech 3...
(or can ai upgrade independently from players?)

On a side note, the biggest threat to the LAATs are actually the AAT tanks, which are as of the current version the strongest AA unit (due to the bug). Also, I think Anti vehicle turrets can target LAATs as well.

Does anyone know if LAAT's can be hit by snails or spiders while troops are embarking/disembarking?

SO CIS players, can anyone give a hint on how to use the Hailfire droids effectively? They seem to be better at longer range, but it's such a hassle to get everything lined up when tank droids or spider droids can dish out more punishment.

Although I am primarily a CIS player, I do enjoy using Yoda + ANYTHING combos purely for laughs. I find the best combos (besides orbital and bomber strikes) are the INSANE artillery guns or the super fast saber tanks!

Guys check photos for a new update on what is going on. They just released a new photo with some commentary from the modders' side of things.

I believe Battlefront extreme uses the base game maps but with modded eras. Since it still uses the base maps, will the ai hero support work?

Hi! The mod looks great. Quick question: will cylon ground units be retextured instead of standard Star Wars troops?

Hello again,

I noticed this morning a sub-mod to RAW called RAW:re.

https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-republic-at-war-re

I'm just wondering what is its association with RAW, because a lot of the "expanded new units" there seem to be the same as RAW 1.2's new units. Is it a personal side project or is there involvement from the RAW mod team?

Thanks!

Hello there!
I'm really into the RAW mod, and I've recently been looking into this page as the RAW Mod Team adds the finishing touches to v1.2. I'm wondering how this mod will work in conjunction with RAW in terms of installation and content, as well as how the mod creators here work with the RAW Mod team. Any insight would greatly be appreicated.

Much thanks to the EAW modding community!

^^^ Definitely some good pointers^^^

Also, I messaged one of the main modders a couple months ago and he said the HAG will be receiving a damage and range boost in the next update. This means that the republic won't have an OP yoda/artillery combo.

*note: easiest way to win playing reps is to use yoda's force sense with artillery*

Hello Community!
First off, happy Star Wars day!
Secondly, I'd like to mention that I come to this website several times a week to check for the exciting update, and I know a lot of people do too. These people, including myself, oftentimes come here to help others and check for any news, but instead every day a majority of the comments are complaints against the modders' "lack of communication."

Before taking your time to post these kinds of comments, I would kindly recommend that you check the pictures and videos, as these are updated much more often than the articles. In fact, A NEW PICTURE CAME OUT TODAY WITH AN EXPLANATION OF THE MODDER'S LACK OF NEWS.

All I ask is that we respect the mod creators' personal lives and check all sources of updates so we don't miss out on any of the fun! Everyone here would like to see comments be about some cool things or issues where other members of the community can react to or help in some way, not complaints!
