I am a graduate of Baylor University living in Tyler, TX. I am currently the admin/creator of the "Man in Black" mod for Deus Ex. Our team is recruiting for numerous positions, so any interested parties can contact me here or via e-mail.
Had quite a scare this evening while modding...
While foolishly attempting to create a custom character class, I nearly fragged my Unreal Editor. I got the dreaded "General Protection Fault" error message while re-compiling UE.
Luckily a few re-installations managed to fix up the ole' program, but not before the blood pressure spiked about 200%.

Does one of you know where I could contact Smoke39?
Hey, I've just been reading about your mod and I think it is a good idea. I know you probably get loads of people asking this but if you ever need a play tester or a basic mapper (i'm not brilliant but I can help. Email me if you want a map I have created) then just send me a message. Also, i was looking at the images and I saw this image "https://www.moddb.com/mods/deus-ex-man-in-black/images/orders-menu#imagebox" it is a very good idea and I am wondering if you ever intend on making it into a useable mod like you said you were going to do...
-Thanks
Well, I love the idea of improved physics (because let's face it, Deus never had the most convincing character animations). But I'm not so keen on the UT2004 graphics, especially when it comes to people. Hmmm. Maybe when we pick up some more team members we can take a vote and see where the general consensus lies.

Would you guys be interested in developing your mod for DXR ( Moddb.com ) as well as DX? You could start right away, assuming you have UT2004, and could have much more artistic freedom when it comes to designing models, maps, and textures. You won't be limited to Unreal Engine 1 technology, and you'll be one of the first mods to use DXR as the base.
