Okayyyy so i figured it out. Idk if it was my own stupidity or the fact that I restarted my computer, but I'm gonna explain this step by step.

1. Download this FC exactly how The creator says. Extract it into the Amnesia ROOT folder (Folder with Amnesia.exe)

2. Once extracted fully, open Notepad and copy and paste these 2 commands:

#1: DefaultUserKeysSDL2 = "config/default_user_keys_sdl2.cfg"
#2: DefaultMainSettingsSDL2 = "config/default_main_settings_sdl2.cfg"

3. Open the "gary_config" folder and open "main_init" in notepad

4. paste #2 under the first DefaultMainSettings not the other 3 commands (Low,Med,High. This won't work.) Paste #1 under DefaultUserKeys (shouldn't be hard to find.)

5. Save it the main_init file with the new changes. DO NOT CLICK THE BAT. FILE. YOU CAN NO LONGER PLAY ANY FC MOD THIS WAY ANYMORE!!!

6. Open Steam Library right click on Amnesia and click properties, then click "Set Launch Settings." now type the pathway to your main_init file. It should be "gary_config/main_init.cfg" if you followed my instructions carefully.

CONGRATS now your FC should start up! You can choose to run the launcher or jump straight into the game.

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT WILL WORK!!! IF IT DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU, YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! GO BACK TRY AGAIN MAYBE RESTART COMPUTER OR REINSTALL FILES IF NEEDED!!!

Hey so I'm coming to you with the classic "BAT file not working problem. I know allt he ways to fix it and actually have gotten it to work on certain FC's but yours and GDS still isn't working. I would like to do a full lets play of yours and REALLY want this to work, so if you caould find the time to answer back and help, it would be very amazing. Thank you!

So as funny as it sounds, I tried your FC's pathway through steam and this time it actually worked, but my other FC's I have been wanting to try like GDS and WN are still not working. I would appreciate the help regardless, but you're story is available to me now!

So ever since this 1.3 update, all FCs are nearly impossible to play. I keep getting failed init error code. Is FG just saying **** this community finally? I have been trying to solve this with every method for over 6 hours now and I think I'm finally gonna give in. Maybe they just want you guys to start modding SOMA instead..idk but I'm losing all willpower to do anything at this point...If anyone knows how to help...please do :(
