Curious on how you plan on implementing gravity into this, I guess you can implement it so sectors around a planet are effected by a certain degree of gravity, which would save you a bit of programming instead of playing with the whole gravity= G x m1 x m2 /r2 where G is the gravitational constant (Most accurate one I could find for earth was this lovely gem: (6.674 28 (+/- 0.000 67) x 10-11th m3 kg-1 s -2), and M1 and M2 are the masses of the objects in question, and R is the distance between them.

That would probably suck up alot of computing power having to run that calculation every second, play with percentages and distances could save you alot of space and power, like gravity=base gravity/distance, only real problem is that'd leave you affected by the gravity of every object in the solar system at the same time, although the farthest objects will effect you so minutely it probably won't matter.

But I may just be speaking to someone that already has this all planned out, so I'm going to apologize for the rant.

There were Three Major Tank-Tank battles during the Gulf war, two of which didn't have any Air Support or Anti-Tank support.

The M1a1 has a Max Effective range of 2 miles, and it can take a t-72 out at 1000 meters.
The The T-72 had a max effective of 1200 meters, and could only inflect damage to an Abrams at 400 meters.

The M1a1 abrams max speed is 70mph.
The T-72 is only 35mph.

The T-72 used HE rounds exclusevly, which couldn't penetrate the the rear armor of the M1a1.
The M1a1 used SABOT, HEAT, and Phosphorous rounds. All three can penetrate the T-72's armor, and the SABOT will go all the way through and take another one out if the range is under 500 meters

The M1a1 could turn 360 degrees faster than the T-72.

The T-72 had night vision equipment, but it only worked up to 200 meters, the M1a1 Had night vision that worked up to 800 meters.

Theres a recorded incident where four T-72's sorounded an Abrams, and it still came out victorious.

The only time we lost M1a1 Abrams during the Gulf war, Desert storm, and Desert shield was to Friendly fire from another Abrams, and even then the tanks were usually still salvagable, and the crew usually survived.

The M1a2 nearly doubled the capability of all the M1a1's systems and weapons.

Now, I'll leave it up to you to decide which is superior ;) The cheap Russian Copy, or the Purpose built to kick *** American Tank.

Although you probably don't get offer's for help often, I was playing it earlier today and I noticed the animations for the weapons, or distinct lack of them. If you can give me the format you need the animations saved in, as well as models, I can put forth some time to cleaning there general appearance as a donation to the greater cause.

Twice the power of the M82? Thats a little...Overkill. Although it is a Bolt-Action, the M82 makes up for it with a reinforced action/Bolt system which increase's the Velocity at the cost of added recoil.

That and a Bolt Action .50 cal is going to have a ridiculous amount of recoil compared to the barret, being that all the recoil is directly transfered into your shoulder.

Nice, that is in fact a pretty massive improvement over the previous models, should allow for pretty increased framerates compared to the other ones.

Whats the ETA on textures? If you don't find someone, I'm sure we can figure something out.
