Description
Designed since 1933-34 as replacement of T-26, T-46 was larger tank which was supposed to be better in all aspects. However, after producing of several vehicles it was found out T-46 was too complex for mass production and beside speed didnt offered any advantages over T-26, the production was stopped.
T-46 was light tank although being far larger than T-26. Surprisingly for its size, the armament was the exact as of T-26, 45mm gun. Also the armor protection was not adequate, also the same as of T-26. The fate of the produced T-46 is not very known, only that several tanks were used during battle of Moscow in static defense line.

I can, when I have mood for it :) Even just looking on the list of Soviet tanks I have before me makes me think "damn, thats too much" :D
