Developed for destruction of enemy fortification, two SU-14 were build in 1934. Initially armed with massive 203mm howitzer, it was later replaced with 152mm gun to ease the transmission, and while still experimental several variants were developed. Both two SU-14 were used in Winter War and in defense of Moscow.
SU-14 was experimental heavy self-propelled gun. The chassis was made from T-35 with several other components from both T-38 and T-35. The armament consisted of 152mm gun, which was by time replaced with newer (and better) howitzers, making SU-14-1 and SU-14 Br2. One example survived and is now to view in Kubinka Tank Museum (where, interestingly, was stationed during siege of Moscow).
