With this new update I am getting an Access Violation error everytime the turrets are destroyed and the message Fight thr Enemy pops up. This occurs EVERY time. :(

Anybody who doles out a "one" review is either a coward or a troll. I have the game and have watched a few rather extensive playthroughs and will be firing it up tonight. It looks very promising. Don't let the morons get you down man!
Desura requires a review for "ten" rated games and I really think Desura needs to implement the same policy for "one" ratings. I've asked about this previously and Desura has not responded.
Sounds great! I do think this game has a lot of potential. Big space games are making a comeback with titles like Limit Theory, No Man's Sky, Elite: Dangerous, and Star Citizen. I've also noticed a comeback of classic shooters as well. So, thank you for the update on the imminent update!! :)
This happens when I am on the hex grid. I am told to press "Y" to warp to my ship. Then, there is no way to "park" in the blue circle. I have keyboard/mouse enabled for all players, but, there is no way to get through the tutorial.
What I am going to try to do is just skip the tutorial and jump in the game. I love Asteroids and this DOES look cool from the videos. I'll let you know how that works. Thank you for being so attentive. Perhaps I am doing something wrong on the hex screen?
Well, the keyboard/mouse control is a joke. You cannot complete the tutorial of this game using the keyboard/mouse control, so, devs should be more responsible in letting gamers know they need a controller. I'll wait to post a review because it does seem as though the developer has been active here.
Copyright infringement of what exactly? If you are talking about the Cinemaware game Space Rangers (plural) then you are wrong. As far as creating space shooters, I am pretty sure that this one is the first since the Shoot em Up Construction Kit on the Amiga.
Anyhow the game is fun, but, I wish that users could import their own ship graphics and backgrounds. I'm a graphic artist and modeler. Also, will there be a future possibly to create vertical scrollers like Aero Fighters and horizotals like R-Type? As it stands, while excellent, this game is basically a mashup of Asteroids and Time Pilot. Nice beginning and I'm having fun, but, if you could develop this a bit more, it would sell for three times what you asking.
See my brief review when it is posted. Short version? Get this gem!!
Billy,
It's not a BAD game at all. In fact it's pretty cool. Thank you for the clarification that this isn't a BETA and also the fullscreen option.
For your courteous reply and the fact that it is a fun shooter, I've upgraded my rating to 7.
Best,
Vlad
PS: Looking forward to more games from you.
Okay, a few things to note:
1. This is a BETA - This was NOT made clear
2. The only thing "proceedurally generated" are the enemies' patterns.
3. Why full mouse control wasn't implemented is a mystery as games like the Star Defender series from Alawar have been doing mouse control since the mid-2000s.
4. You cannot play in full screen.
Ship model graphics are 2D and I am sorry, but they look like they were designed in Microsoft Paint! I can live with subpar graphics, but the lack of fullscreen AND the WASD instead of mouse control for flight really hurts this game.
Fix the flight options and allow full screen and it would get an 8 from me. Right now, it is a 6 at best.
Desura states there are no available releases. Billy, you might want to check on this. I am writing to support; no fun when you but a game and it's not available
