Since DoW3 will probably suck donkey ***, only this mod will keep the franchise alive.
Started the mod for the first time and the game crashed after 15 minutes on skirmish. Pitty, since the mod looked cool.

It appears I've been a mouthbreathing retard the whole time and didn't actually install the Tyranids mod - only downloaded it. Nothing to see here, move on.
K, so I installed tyranids 52b, ua 1.73, then 1.734 and still can't load the mod from game manager. Looking at the "warnings" .txt file it says it's the tyranids fault (damn you). Btw I have Purgation over Kaurava mod as well.
Performing clean install now..
Firestorm over Kaurava features Black Templars as well but the mechanics are different. This is what I meant. Anyway, I got the hang of it - early rush, before they bring out those bloody defilers. The auto reinforcement rule is really neat. :)
Ok, I'm sorry. I was raging :D and that was my first playthrough. Didn't realize a squad could get so much better when you put a commander in charge. The first time I got swarmed by defilers and raptors and needless to say I was ownd. I've been playing too much FoK where everything is harder to kill(especially marines). Maybe I expected to be similar cause there are Black Templars as well, which causes me to wonder did they borrowed your idea or the other way around?
Sometimes the templars act like total idiots. I don't know which one of their abilities is triggered but they stand in one spot(ranged) and you can't move them, or they chase the enemy till they die like total retards. Is there any way to disable this moronic feature? If they acted so dumb the chapter would've been wiped out on their first day.
