How to host or find servers? Is it actually a coop build and not SP build?
Also the camera is messed up - it "floats", moving the crosshair randomly all the time and the character seems to be crouching and getting up every few steps.

No, it's a [dead] multiplayer mod. Something like Counter-Strike, but more tactical and realistic, and with very unusual controls (the crosshair, ironsights and the weapons' viewmodels are not fixed to the center of the screen, but instead they move on the screen, following your mouse movement, almost like your Windows cursor (or, more like, some ancient Macromedia Flash Player based web games of the "shooting range" genre). You move them with your mouse, and then the camera (your field of view) shifts accordingly if you move your crosshair/ironsights too far from the center of the screen (something like half of the screen) - somewhat like you can aim in VR games, or like how you move the camera around in old Strategy and RPG games, where the camera is not fixed to a certain character. It's hard to explain, you'd better try it yourself. If you'll need a server and an opponent to try it out, you can contact me on Steam (https://steamcommunity.com/id/Vic2077/) I can host a server for it.

Constant alarm in the beginning and nonstop overlapping YABA MY ICING zombie spam in the endgame is very annoying. It would be much better if you could add an option to disable the alarm and change zombie idle sounds to something more subtle and less annoying in some further update.

What DLL did you use? I can't launch the game if I use the dll provided with the mod, can't tunr to more than 45 degrees if I use Opposing Force dll (from "gerabox" folder) and the game gets all broken if I use the default Half-Life dll (form "valve" folder).

Okay, this trick allows you to play, but changes a lot of stuff to default Half-Life behavior. Like, the Nightvision will just shine a normal flashlight under your feet, illuminating some area around you with white light, instead of turning your screen all green and adding the film grain effect, all Opposing Force weapons are either invisible, or don't shoot, and you can't select the last few categories of weapons, like the sniper rifle, machinegun, shock roach, bio launcher, etc., your HUD is orange instead of green, and has Opposing Force icons, etc.
I've also tried to install this mod on an old non-steam version of Half-Life, and it also doesn't work with the client.dll provided with the mod. So the mod is just broken and needs a proper fix from the dev or someone else.

Similar problem here, but for me it only allows me to turn the camera inside a 45 degree angle (the camera doesn't "jerk back", but just stops if I turn it to 45 degree in any derection and won't turn any further in the same direction.

In the trailer it is kind of weird that a person in the bathroom was sitting on a box with a gun and not using it against the zombis who were about to eat her. I'd make the gun empty, so the player would have to reload it after picking up, or just watch the reloading animation (implying that she needed help and didn't use her weapon because she ran out of ammo) or make the box locked (and the player would have a key, code or tool to open it and get the gun). or make the gun jammed or broken and requiring repairs (or teh box would just have a gun part which the player copuild later use to construct a good weapon) or a weapon attachment or some other valueable item instead.

МП-моды нынче неактуальны (особенно при том, что практически все сейчас сидят за NAT провайдеров и с динамическими IP-адресами, и хостить самому, чтобы игроки могли подключаться к тебе напрямую через Интернет тупо невозможно, так что нужно либо дополнительно платить провайдеру за подобные опции, и ставить под угрозу собственную безопасность, либо арендовать VPS за деньги - что явно не каждый готов делать, либо искать где-то в Интернете сообщества игроков, объединяться с ними в виртуальные частные локальные сети при помощи чего-то типа RadminVPN или LogMeIn Hamachi и т.д., что вообще мало кто сейчас будет делать и не каждый вообще способен разобраться сов сем этим - людям куда проще пойти в какой-нибудь условный Валорант, Тарков, КСГО или любую другую популярную онлайн-игру поиграть на официальных серверах).
Ну, или хоть в тот же Sven Coop банально, если уж так хочется ХЛ1 по сети/в коопе (да ещё и бесплатно).
+ большинство фанатов ХЛ1 уже давно - люди взрослые, и времени и возможности регулярно собираться и играть во что-то всем вместе у большинства тупо нет.
А вот различные кооп или ПвЕ-моды (причём, на самые разные игры , как новые, так и старые) сейчас весьма популярны (и там не нужно много народу, чтобы весело провести время, а хватит и 1-2 напарников. Особенно, если друзей, и им уже можно хоть прямой IP свой дать, хоть объединиться с ними в какую-нибудь локалку через RadminVPN или Hamachi).
Так что я бы сказал, актуальнее было бы скорее делать ПвЕ-кооп, типа как в XDM или Base Defence.

I think they are very cool and I would enjoy it even with classic HL enemies and weapons (and I think exactly the opposite - that they do fit surprisingly well in KFmod environment), though the idea of this mod/game is to make it a KFMod prequel, not a HL1 mod, so yes, enemies and weapons will be replaced with those from KFmod (or maybe some elements from KF1 too).

А почему дигл и М4 а не USP Match или револьвер из ХЛ2 или, хотя бы, ХЛ1, и MP7 или AR2? И граната вообще LD, и н то, что не из ХЛ2, а даже не HD, хотя у остальных пушек руки от HD-моделек. И зарядники тоже можно было бы перенести из ХЛ2. (и почему вообще подбираются бронежилеты, а костюм - HEV, заряжается зарядниками HEV и говорит про проценты энергии при подборе броников, но молчит при зарядке от зарядника?
Ну и недостаёт если не ломика,то хотя бы ножа, гаечного ключа или любого другого холодного оружия (электродубинки Комбайнов, как вариант). Не то, чтобы оно тут было сильно нужно, но лично я себя без чего-то, чем можно "бесплатно" ломать ящики, "пробовать на зуб" стёкла и прочее, и экономить патроны на зомбаках и хедкрабах чувствую немного не комфортно.
Кстати, зомбаки тоже могли бы быть из ХЛ2 (а то даже и зомбайны вообще) или, хотя бы, ретекстурированные под синие комбезы горожан из ХЛ2, или зомбарей из ХЛ2 / Беты ХЛ2, а эмке можно было бы или урезать магазин до 30, или взять модельку с барабанным магазином, оставив 50.

Glad you're back - and even with a mod for my favourite official HL addon, too!
As for the lantern oil - yes, I hated it. But maybe it could stick around if there would be a good way to replenish it as much as you need - for example, something like big oil barels in warehouses, barns, house clostets, etc. that would contain insane, but still limited, or even infinite amount of oil, so you could always come back if you are too slow and explore the locations too much and run out of it - or push forward to find another big oil stash some way up ahead. Then it wouldbe great, IMO (since you can't just magically "recharge" the oil in the lantern, much like you can squeeze a bit more from a dead battery after it "cools down" for a bit). Or change it to something else, like wood splinters that you could cut from wooden objects with your saber, or something like candles, where you could re-use the wax, but needed some cords to make candlewicks... Which would be much more common than sperm whale oil, and matches or flint to light them up - which are also lighter and easier to carry around than bottles of oil, and you could carry a much bigger supply of them with you once you find a wharehouse where you can resupply on them, or find said things in pretty much any house, or if you could drain some oil from any lamp on the wall or something...
In other words, make it a manageable resource like ammo and health, and not a way to enforce speedrunning or dwelling in almost complete dakrness (this maybe couldwork for a short and linear mod like the Fever Dream, but not for almost "open world" mod with vast lovcations requiring a lot of backtracking and exploration like the Parasomnia).

The map would help much more, because new players still have no idea where which building in the town is located, and where the lock of which color might be (and some doors are still getting unlocked on their own for an unknown reason and with no visual indication that this door/gate which was locked a moment ago is now unlocked) and people still can't see **** in the dark, to even see the silhouettes of the buildings to, say, tell where the Church or the Tower is, or read the signs above the building entrances.

Okay, but why the Henry holds so many rounds and gets reloaded almost instantly as if it would be a BB gun? Also, is it more or less powerful, or has equal power with the SAA? If more or equal - then why it's reloaded faster, while holding more rounds at once?
Also, it's iron sights are totally useless, since it's too dark around to even see any part of the iron sights unless you are aiming directly at the ground under your feet, the iron sights shift as you move the mouse (aim) and it doesn't even zoom in. Meh. Also, I'd even say that Henry shoots faster, because I often manage to miss my targets even at a point-blank distance with the second and following shots if I use the Colt in that "gangsta mode", and totally can't hit anything in that mode on the medium or longer distance.
And I really wish that Thompson would be available at the first playthrough and actually use .45 ammo - for when you really need that firepower, and ready to sacrifice a lot, if not most or all of your ammo (which you only can carry 100 or so at a time). Maybe even if it would have only 20 round magazine or so, instead of 50, (maybe not even the Thompson, but a "Grease Gun", or something else? - I guess the Thompson just didn't exist at all back then...) and would balance the Colt and the Henry - for example, make the Colt stronger, but slower shooting and (maybe) slowly reloading, and with a smaller magazine (and, maybe, less accurate), while making the Henry more accurate, zoomable, with bigger magazine size - but weaker, and faster (or, vice versa - even slower) reloadable or something - because as soon as I found the Henry (which was probably right after I've first encountered the zombies and the dogs) I almost stopped using the Colt at all (well, maybe I only used it twice or so, when I ran out of ammo in the Henry and had no time to reload).

In the version that I'm playing, Half-Rats can carry
121 .45 rounds (6 in the Colt, 15 in the Henry and 100 in reserve)
48 shotgun rounds (2 loaded and 46 in reserve)
and only 10 dynamite sticks.
Both .45 and shotgun ammo boxes (at least, those, that drop from the dead enemies) contain only 10 rounds, and dynamite sticks drop from the crates in something like 3 sticks simultaneously and they could be picked up 1 by 1 (like, if you have 9 or 8 you will only take 1 or 2 respectfully, and 2 or 1 will remain on the floor and you will be able to pick them up later)
and the Gatling Gun has only 150 rounds.
