Lazy russian student... In DBZ mod i'm a story writer, mapper and prop modeller. Maybe in future, i will take enough experience, to work with characters and sceletal animation. But now, i have too many work to do with story, maps, and props.

That's really awesome.
Rising of this thing looks really impressive.

But i think, awesomeness will jump to the sky, if you add some effects from Clear Sky. I mean, those eye-blurring, blackouts, some color-correction effects, and OF COURSE those sounds effects of a psi-thunder. Yeah, in CoP this effect reduced to only one boom... But in CS there were many of them, and blowout starts with one, before all lightening effects. And a background low-frequency rumble. That sounded really scary, and it seems, GSC deleted it, because there were a lot of "wet pants" complaints :D
And that's sad for me, and i want it back :D

Greatest stalker mod compilation ever!
Athmosphere get another level of awesomeness!

This mod doesn't interfere into gameplay too much, and this is great.

But one thing about gameplay i dream about, and nobody made this yet(as i know)... And your mod reminded me about it, with new ambient sounds(scary sound of rising ringing to be exact).

Wandering anomalies.

That sound could be a great signal about rising anomaly right under your butt :D I know, this sounds hard to make...
But original idea of Stalker world (Strugatzkie's novel "Picnic on the roadside"), says, that the Zone plays with stalkers in some kind of game. And rules are: "Shortest way is longest one", or "Don't go back on the way you came", or "Don't go between two high points", or "There is no straight way", and if you will run in panic - you will die immidiately...
Huh, Hardcore Zone... :)
Dreams, just dreams, because i can't imagine how to script all of this...

Well I've played this mod, and i've a lot to say.
2000 chars don't allow me to write all, what i want...
So, first expression - not bad. Really not bad. Very nice mapping, somewhere much better than Ep2. Lovely work on lighting and athmosphere, very nice new sounds. I like them. Especcially for zombies.
Optimisation is not bad, but, in final scenes there was some strange lags... High fps, but very twitched.
All textures are on their places, very nice looking. But not materials. Materials on weapons are creepy and static. This is not good.
In technical implementation is VERY good.
But all is wasted by the plot. There isn't any plot! What this rocket doing here? What is going on, and WHY we need to launch this rocket? Where it goes? In-game - there isn't any mention of this.
This is VERY bad.
So, very contrast impression. Plot and scenario is real trash. But visual work has very high quality.
You need to work on it.

First, this screens was taken in cl_drawhud 0 mode.
Second - yes, crosshair will be disabled. Otner gud elements will be minmalized, like in hl1, maybe.

Ok, now i see, what is a problem.
I'll wait when Flagg comes, to explain this, and after - whole model will be remodelled.

I know, he is very experienced artist, i've watched all stages of development, of all our models... Except Deagle.

So, for now, i delete all Deagle screenshots, until new model will be created.

I belive, this incident is unique, and never would be repeated. Even after this, i still trust Flagg.
I'll watch for it, and collect screenshots from all stages for all model.

He is my teacher in all modellng stages, and i trust him... It's a surprize, huh.

He is very experienced 3d artist, i've watched all stages of development of all characters and many other our models. He wrote some tutorials, based on our characters, with all stages - from scrath to hi-poly sculpting. You can google it - Google.com It's in russian, but there is over 800 links to his tutor. ****, parser destroed the link... ******* russian simbols...
Its very, very strange, and need more detailed investigation.

What is your polycount?
Do you have hi-poly model, to extract normal maps?
How many materials do you use on this model?

I see, that texture is COMPLITELY distinct.
Mesh, visually is distinct too, in that way, how can be different images of the SAME real object.

I can bring to you our materials, screenshot of the mesh with polycount. But only after you show me the same.

orly? I see, you never hold AK in your hands? Of course, you can't... But, maybe you can shoot from M4, if you goes to army. M4 is much more gentle weapon, but shoot more than 5 bullets per round simply... useless.

Squared structures are normal for industrial buildings, so all the details will be only like damaged bricks, and other small objects. They would be added in final pass, and all of them will be props. Increasing number of brush structures would not give anything useful.
