A friend of mine fixed the Nuln Great cannon Crash Here is the text "1. The "Wissenland fix"
So yeh, this is a rather strange one. Don't know how this managed to get into the mod even on first release. But whatever. This crash was simply said caused by a vanilla Medieval 2 unit model, which doesn't exist within the files of CoW, but is still being used as the officer model for the crew of the "Nuln Great Cannon". So your game is basically trying to load in a unit model that can't be found within the mod files. And that makes your game crash upon entering a battle. That kinda sucks if you consider that Wissenland is one of the 2 playable empire races in multiplayer and that the "Nuln Great Cannon" is, as far as I know, the only unique unit from their roster.
So, to fix this you simply go into your data folder and look for the textfile named "export_descr_unit". Simply open it with any program that can edit such files (preferably Notepad, your basic Windows program for doing such stuff). Now use the search function by pressing ctrl + f. That should open a little window. Now simply search for Nuln_Cannon. What you find there should kinda look like this :

See that one line that says "officer"? There we have our offender, it was Emanuelle all along! Emanuelle seems to be an officer unit from the original game and it was being used by the portuguese. But like I explained already this unit model simply can't be found within the mods files. So what do we do about that? Let's just replace it with a model that can be found. I like using the Nuln_crew for that since it blends in with the other crew members. I'd recommend using that since loading in another model might f*ck around with this old engine to much, I dont even know, I'm not a programmer, only a guy with to much free time on his hands."

Its just a guess tho but the line that made me think this is " the key is no longer concealed. Not by force, but by hope and loyalty, it can be revealed."

People! Here me for my noblest of causes! Me and a friend of mine are going to host a Tournament if we have enough players! If the devs would join us it would be even better! If you want to join put your steam name in a comment commenting on this post and i shall add you to the End Times Steam group where you can sign yourself up at the discussion in the group. After you have done this i will write you down on some paper and more news may follow later about the Tournament.Devs are made mod to do stuff in the group itself.
