Looks fake. Bump mapping is what Gears of War and Halo use to distract their fanboys from the poor gameplay.

It's certainly a capable engine, but honestly, Valve's own mapping isn't as good as this. Half Life has much more simple maps and textures than this does.

It's all in dev textures so it's obviously a test map. I assume you won't spend much time on the street, so there's really no need to put a lot of detail in it.

You should be able to see the inside of the other side of the heat shield. Looks like the same problem with the handle on top.

That would make his shoulders incredibly broad. If you are drawing someone in a large suit try drawing the person inside first, otherwise you end up with a person who has very disproportionate limbs in there. With a head that size his feet would be about where the suits knees are.
