I know this is ridiculous but I have to say it since BSG Deadlock is coming out, I'd love for it to have a switch to flak ability to destroy incoming fighters and torps. But I don't think it fits star wars.

It seems to make the game lag for a second when it changes tracks or searches for tracks that are no longer there, I recently did I clean install by wiping both X3TC and X3AP from my hard drive and then only installed X3AP (with steam it also added X3TC but didn't update the library so it is still grayed out) and so far i've only had freezes not crashes. Anyway the music track thing is just a guess, because it is the first thing to start getting funky just before a crash.

MikSha have you tried playing the intro to see if that works for you or causes a crash?

This is a huge guess, but it might have something to do with the removed music since the game plays a cutscene after loading and then using a certain music track for said cutscene so then in crashes. Here is a work around I've found. If you hit escape after it loads you can skip the scene, however I'd had numerous issues with the game crashing randomly in all of my game except my custom game were i just spawned in ships i liked to fly them around.

I'll be honest it only crashed once for me during a skirmish test and then in GC but I think it was a bug not sure what caused it but I just got ****** off because it also deleted the saves file!!!

But what do you mean its not mean for GC? He has added in planets and as far as I can tell there wasn't a warning saying GC is only half done or anything (again being honest I didn't look really hard but I did make sure to read most of his postings before I installed the mod)90% of the crashing and bugs came from the GC so hearing that its not meant for GC (least not yet) makes sense, still could a sworn he said somewhere that it was working or something.

Really? Considering It crashes constantly in GC the units that are present don't really have any balance (the ships stats don't match up correctly I've since forgotten exact names of said ships) , plus this guy hasn't is not continuing work on this mod there is no point of installing it since most of the info and titles are missing for around 60% to 70% of all factions, not to mention the pathetic copy and paste job done with the planets.

Well heres how i see it, what if you can only build basic units for your millitary unless that region has an advanced complex of sorts for which to build better ground forces, and an advanced flight building for better fighters units, and last but no least a shipyard but only on sections that meet the ocean.

You could add regions in the sea but not to build on at any place accross water use current shiping lanes as an example to set your water regions since the shiping lanes are the shortest route to each country.

Also could you add in animtions with the millitary units please? like movement and cannon flares and actually make it look like they are shooting XD here is an example Youtube.com their units also move on hexes, i also think that you might want to rework how units move accross the battlefeild (other than adding what i talked about above) likeall tanks should move 2 sqares and light tanks 3 or more and infantry 4 or more. (Jets are good btw)

You also need to make the anti aircraft tanks more powerful against aircraft, it took 4 anti air tanks to kill one fighter once and i still ended up losing 1 tank 4 vs 1 and i came out at a loss XD for the most part they just miss a lot, so i guess in order to balence it make it so that AA tanks will take off 80 - 90% of the strongest aircraft in the games HP (or make a better AA tank avalible)

my game keeps crashing (it told me where to find the crash file and i took a screen shot, but i turned my pc off before saving the screen shot :( and i also forgot where to find the file, arn't i the best beta tester ever XD )

-Anyway i find that the pollution meter is buged in that if it goes beyond 60% it then climbs up by 10% every turn from that point on unless you get rid of the building that produced said pollution (however you still have to construct something in order to reduce the current pollution lvl in other wirds it doesn't go away)

-for the intro text you say "for the" twice "for the for the decline of many countires" (not sure if anythings misspelled because that is not my forte) the frist "for the" is on the upper line and the second is in the lower one, thats the best i got on that, i hope you understand what i mean by into, like the intro movie when you frist start the game.

Helpful Addition(s)
-You should add in fleets it would make boarder deffence more worrysome and thusly more challenging game.
-Also its totally possible to lock up your boarders and just focus on teching up for the whole game while the computers fight it out, however thats not exactly fun XD but i just thought i's tell you.

So are we looking at an anti Corvette, Corvette? With a phaser cannon and maybe 1 or 2 light anti fighters guns? (the anti fighter guns make sence since the Gunboat has like 2 for self deffence as apposed to the Corellian Corvette that has like 4.)

I'm sure i'm just repeating something some one has already said but, will there be a fix that will allow us to select all fighters? (and the hunt for enemys thing, wouldn't it make sence that the fighters could still hunt for enemys even in the neb fields?)

It's a really dumb idea to have two virus scanners, Microsofts software works better (duh i mean if MS made your OS then this part a no brainer), you only need to pay for or get those other "free" programs if you happen to do a lot of paypal or banking online or pay your bills online and even then its the people with the extra service that hackers and virus makers go for anyway (i should know since some of my friends do that for fun in my computer class for training purposes)

Well heres how I see it, your anti virus software scans for irregularities in the programs themselfs. This is all wirtten in was looks like command prompt or python or something. Newer anti-virus software has been known to consider games that were ment for dos or cmd or python to be viruses because its a exe that cannot be activated and checked properly by the anti-virus software.

I think there already is a space version the only thing is he wants to add in some anime and better gfx's in pretty much everything so he's going to be redoing everything so might as well take a look at the Basilisk :D (also in some of the videos that you see when you start the game include combat from the droid and other mando forces.)

option 1(as i see it). an area effect that suddenly causes/forces the fighter unit to fight with the Basilisk and thus self generate an attack spree featuring the enemy fighter type in a "space event" (like you see a Basilisk rip claw at or ram through a fighter and they suddenly explode this attack would happen all at once though and may no look as cool)

option2(as i see it). The Basilisk rips claws smashes ect. enemy fighter units based on range i.e if enemy unit is on top of close to them they would randomly do their cool animated attack (make sure to leave the big air units out of this considering that it might look silly if they are swiping at enemy capital ships)

option 3 (as i see it) They just eandomly rip claw smash ect. no matter the distence (might need to add in a Basilisk charge anime for when it rapidly close distance on enemy craft and such showing the player that they arn't just teleporting around XD or something.
