A huge improvement over the first Abysm! This one felt a lot tighter level design wise. The experience system is a great addition as well. I played through as the "mage" on normal and immediately put on the extra difficulty at the shrine.

I think a few more optional dungeons and maybe another boss fight would be a great addition.

I actually found the Sword Dancer harder and more interesting than the final boss! The King battle was also pretty good!

I have to give full props to that "dream" level. Just pure agony for me to finish (but in a good way!). The boss for that level was also really well done.

I think the Vile could do with a reduction of health to 110.

The reward from the poison serpent level (says max health increase) did not get added, my max health stayed the same

My only BIG gripe is that I could not swim to the "Kronos" boss area without taking drowning damage.

Overall, this mod is FANTASTIC and I am genuinely surprised at how this came out so quick, with so much improvement. 10/10

EDIT: Music is also fantastic. Some really amazing tracks here.
Was actually surprised when the game ended, thought something crazy was going to occur to set up the a third game (like the town being massacred or something to that effect).

Great game all the way through. Very faithful to the original game. 10/10

Overall a very impressive mod for Doom 2! I'm about two hours into this one so far, but here is my review as of now:

POSITIVES
+Great weapon and item selection
+Great use of scripting
+ATMOSPHERE!

MIXED
=Hub world sections outside of towns are VERY large and feel like monster dumps. These areas could be shrunk down a bit and use less monsters, but maybe this is what you are aiming for.

NEGATIVES
-Lack of monster diversity. Too many imps within the first half hour!

This is the Doom mod that inspired myself to start making Doom mods. I have nothing but the highest and utmost respect for this darned thing; it is honestly a true accomplishment. I can only hope to one day reach this level of WAD creation. Thank you Batandy!
