It's a feature (a native one). If you want to avoid prisonners escape you must build an outpost/fort and put them there just after you recruited them, as garrison. Wait for a day or two then pick them up. Works for castle and towns as well if you own them.
It's just as if you added a Franciscan faction with Monks fighting on the battlefield... it just wouldn't make sense.... Besides that "faction" would disappear in a few hours from the campaign map. The only way around is to make them big, thus creating an Hashashin state that never existed. I'm not even speaking of their troop tree that is impossible to imagine (Hashashins Knights ? Hashashin archers ? come on...)
Assasin's faction ? They only held one remote mountain-castle and didn't have a proper "army" to fight with. They were more of a sect with its own agenda rather than a real faction. I don't know how that could be balanced in the game... Military orders are having a tough time already with their few settlements and making the Assasin's faction just as strong as them would just mess up the whole game I think.
I don't mean that they should'nt be there at all... but an Assassin's Republic just doesn't seem to work.
Muslim lords defected to Christianity and Bohemond III considered conversion to Islam for a while. Defection to another religion is therefore possible. The truce was broken by Reynald's deed only. Beside, Guy de Lusignan wasn't "cruel" he was unexperienced and in fact many considered him as a coward. Kingdom of Heaven isn't historical, get over it.
Very stable so far (early game) and I must congratulate your work on armors. Looks really nice right now.
Your mod your choice I guess. Too bad you don't decide to push the immersion though. I know historical accuracy can sound boring and tedious, but it's a real gameplay booster if done correctly. You think of gameplay first and it should always be that way but guys like the Brytenwalda modders understood that history doesn't necessarily gets in the way of a great game. Not putting every faction is not a problem but anachronic situations might feel weird at some point (a clash between saladin and nur-ad-din for example).
Anyway if you ever need whatever kind of help (now matter how tedious) with the time period or the texts I'be more than glad to help. Looks like a promising overhaul
Nur-ad-Din died a few weeks before Baldwin IV's coronation in 1174. Shouldn't it be his son Al-Saleh instead for Syria ?
Also Gérard de Ridefort took control of the Templars in 1185, just before Baldwin's death. Eudes de St-Armand is the Templar's Grand-master until 1179.

Nice overhaul, new scenes are great and immersion is really easy. One major complaint though, the troop's number limitation for your party (only 103 men available despite the fact that I'm a lord with 7 leadership, 22 charisma and two castles). Sieges are almost impossible right now...
Hope patches will be coming soon :)

No its not a steam version, tried re-installing as well, didnt work. Since I seem to be the only one havin this pb though I feel l'Aigle is indeed not the real problem here. I'll check further on
I thought that as well and went carefully back through all the installing process. Uninstalled VC and l'Aigle to reinstall them later, but the pb still persist. I installed dozens of mod for warband and this never happened. I modified a few stuff in the "configure" options, but it didnt help either. If you have any idea of what might be goin on i'd be glad to hear it. Nevertheless theses problems appeared right after i played l'Aigle. It can be an awful coincidence, but I doubt it.
Read carefully, "for every Warband version I own" that means i get kicked off in versions like Viking Conquest or Native. Never happened before yesterday
Since i downloaded this mod i have crashes and kicks off in MP for every warband version I own. Aside of that battles are simply not fun (cav spam is the only thing required to win, musket/pistol accuracy is terrible, even at point blank). I know you are in Alpha but this is still not acceptable. I ain't the kind to make angry reviews generally but I can't help feeling extremely frustrated right now. I strongly recommend to not download this, at least until we see a real version comin out.
