Hello!:), I am Turkish007, I live in Istanbul, but my hometown is Rize, which is the land of tea, corn-bread, anchovy, cabbage, and crooked noses :D I dont have a lot of time to play games, but when I do I play Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Verdun Online,Unturned, GTA-SA and a couple of other games. I am one of the leaders of Forgotten Hope Turkish Community. I am especially interested in 20th century history and I am good in Ottoman and Turkish history. I am a patriot in my own ways. I can also play the electric and acoustic guitar. I love jazz, blues and classic rock (huge Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan) Enjoy your time on my profile! :)
The G3 is slowly being replaced with the superior MPT-76.
Damn, I like dat weapon! ;D
Me too, its damn sexy and the fact that I will some day get to use it makes it even better! :D
Looks bulky, but DAMN does it look good.
Its not really that big, I got the chance to examine it about 2 months ago.
that gun is MASSIVE. probably packs on hell of a punch too
like an AR15 on crack
Yeah it does hit back hard, I've seen a guy shoot it IRL, and wow. But they say its accuracy is extremely good.
I see a dog Dead it seems the soldier might have used it as a moving target to try out his new gun.
That's just sleeping. We have plenty of stray dogs in Turkey just chilling everywhere.
I can see how the environment has a big impact on the psychological choice of weapons for each country. In the West we fight in Urban areas and favor light compact rifles, while the Turks fight over distances on mountains and favor more durable long range powerful rifles.
Yes, for the past 35 years no rifle proved to be superior to the G3 when fighting in the mountains of south-eastern Anatolia or Cyprus. Until now of course :)
Turkish army seems to love the 7.62x51.
Since we cant provide optics for every soldier, we play our cards for the pwoerful cartridges I guess :)
New Turkish weapon... Looking good!
