How do you do a standalone installation? Seems like Desura is the only way of playing it. I have no problems with just clicking offline when I feel lazy to log in to desura and the game works fine though but would prefer a separate one if I can since we are moving and our net connection will not be restored until after a week.

I really really really would love to get in to this game but no matter how hard I tried, its just so darn hard. I felt like its the "dark souls" of Space RTS.

I was wondering if the 4x setting (slower one) would make a difference in this game?

Looks like its my type of game. So my usual questions for this kind of game:

Random map generator and replayability?

How is the complexity and freedom ? (like does it focus on one aspect more than the other like Sword of the Stars' focus more on combat or is it as deep as Space Empires IV where you have the freedom to create your own race,ships, land units etc or does it hit the sweet spot like lets say distant worlds?)

I tried it but unfortunately I think it is not the game for me. I sort of prefer more management than RPG but its an interesting looking game but I guess its not my cup of tea. Looking forward to what you could make in the future

Looks interesting. What is its current state? (alpha,beta, finished product, continuosly patched/updated?) I love the concept of towns and gnomoria and I am intrigued with the way RPG focus is thrown into the mix. will have a look at it.

Great game! Please fix the aggressiveness of independents. It is understandable that monsters could take over my lands but it is ridiculous that my village is invaded by a single snake or a moose (normal one)

I wish some features of Dominions 3 would be in this game like the depth and character creation. The game just feels too random compared to dominions 3. The game just feels too random like in what units you could recruit per season. I also hope for an option to garrison troops like buying defense points like in Dominions 3.

Question though, could I activate my gamersgate key for my desura account? I don't know if the GG version is updated and there is no version written at the bottom

Dear Illwinter, Dont be like other devs. Please keep on developing these great games and I wish you all the best for all the upcoming games you will be making and I hope you will continue to support Dominions 3 and Conquest of Elysium 3. I just got your games and I prefer them over today's eye candy. Please continue updating and making these great games and I don't care if I have to pay $10 or $100 as long as I know you are the one making it. You are one of my favorite devs now and I almost called in sick for work today after I downloaded Dominions last night.

PS. I just wished Dominions 3 had CoE3's battle animation while CoE3 had Dominions 3's depth.
