Looks like the .NET framework required for the Launcher may not match what's available on your computer. I just pushed an update which checks for this and tries to download the required version. Can you download the mod again and try to run the setup? Let me know how it goes.

Not yet, but some people have shown interest in making one.

Looks like it wasn't successfully installed. Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling? Also did you ever install UserPatch yourself in the past?

#1 is on my list of things to do.
#2 is not only graphically difficult, but having human villagers is acceptable for evil civs. Evil civs were known to have human slaves do work, run their agriculture and fisheries etc.

Thanks, I'm considering these as bugs and working to isolate and fix them.

This should work on top of your existing game, it won’t overwrite anything. It will create it’s own folder. You can still play originals AoE alongside ToME.

Sorry can’t help you here. Sounds like you should look into the overheating issue. Try one of the many Age of Empires forums and fan sites for help.

AI bug has been noticed and fix will be included in the next update, coming any day now.

Also try playing with Eregion for a close Dwarven experience!

It’s the same skill level as standard AoK AI, so by now most dedicated players are well above that level. Plus, ToME is new to everyone and a more forgiving AI is critical for new players to learn the civs. Please try increasing the difficulty setting to give yourself a harder challenge if you believe the AI is below your skill level already.

Can you uninstall the 0.6 beta version first? Then install the new one as admin. If during the process your antivirus flags something as suspicious, you should be notified by your antivirus (does Avira not tell you before quarantining AoETechTree.exe?) hopefully you are able to tell you antivirus to not ruin the files!

They are all in the scenario editor, and can be used in your custom scenarios or campaigns. Hobbit heroes are not really suitable to any particular civ but I may think about adding them to Arnor, Gondor, etc.

Seems to be, the Heroes are not polished and my no. 1 priority to fix in the upcoming update. Hope you are using the Launcher so you get notified of the new file instantly!

If the old one supports full HD I could use the learnings to get the current ToME supported too. Do you have the steps needed to get HD support for the old version?

Have a look at the threads on AoK Heaven Games forum, where people have documented this to work successfully in the past. Or open a thread there to get the mod experts to answer!

AI should work just fine, so this sounds like a corrupted install. Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling to double check? Or if you look at the graphics through the Editor, you may be able to spot any obvious graphical anomalies that would confirm a corrupted install. If a reinstall doesn't fix let me know and we'll investigate further.

I've tried it in the past and it seemed to work. Haven't tried with the latest auto-updating Launcher though, may or may not work. As far as I recall the 1.0e patch comes with a utility to quickly switch to 1.0c as required, so you may want to do that before you install.

The installer has no path hardcoded. If you aren’t asked to choose a path, it means you have a previous install already available that you need to uninstall first.

Thanks for the bug finding! I’ll log them in the github page.

Lots of dwarves! Play Eregion, which is practically dwarves anyway! Many other civs have dwarves flavour as well.
