Wait, the Desura version of AoSXE has online play like the original? I'm glad I'm considering of getting the Summer Bundle from Indie Royal for this (and Gundemonium Collection Steam Edition). :D
Yes it does, a very basic online versus but it is there. However there aren't a lot of players so you usually are put up against Suguri-SP which I presume stands for Suguri-Single Player. But if you have a friend or co-ordinate when to go on and play that should work.
Okay nevermind about the SP bit, I guess if no one connects it just puts you against the character on the opposite side of the selection wheel. I was playing Kae so was up against Suguri-SP.
