good luck with the engine switch! Don't let anyone talk you out of switching engines, I personally am a Unity dev, but I've tried switching to other engines just to try it out and see if I liked it more. You may realize that you made a good or bad decision down the road. All that matters is that you and/or your team are comfortable and happy with the engine you use!

Ah yes thanks. I have a big update coming soon that will add a bunch of new content(still free) it will include a fix for that bug and a few others. Thanks for bringing this to my attention thoguh :)

Premium version will get tons of updates. as in tons of new areas to explore, tons of new enemies to fight, tons of new followers to meet, tons of new quests to do, and tons of new weapons, armor, and items to find! And I think the price is going to stay. I'm more interested in giving people a fun game then making a ton of money off of it :)

I have asked the creators on some for permission. I gave credit in the intro. Others I have created myself. Some I used as templates to code myself. So to answer your question, no I did not create all the scripts but I DID get permission for the ones I didn't.

Okay this is a response to everyone. I have been working all night and all day. Finally finished the update. I'm spending the rest of the day touching it up and it will be available to all premium copies of the game by tuesday(not sure if desura staff is working tomorrow)

To delay the next update another couple days but it never saved the date. I'll be pulling an all nighter to get the update out to everyone tomorrow the only issue will be that i'll be using a temp battle system because i'm working on one that is perfect for the game.

The engine is RPG VX ACE it's basically the same engine it just runs much faster and has a little more flexibility. I want to give you guys the best experience I possibly can with this game. I'm sorry if your still disappointed in this change :(

Actually unfortunately I'll be pushing it back to like monday mainly because Desura does not work on weekends so even if I finished it tomorrow and tried a quick release it wouldn't be accepted until then -_- I apologize :(

some people are getting that error. I have a fix for now just access the games desura page in a browser then click download when the pop up comes up in the bottom right it should say something about standalone downloads. Just click that and download the games .exe file and you can play that for now. Hopefully it should be fixed with the next update

I'm converting it to vx ace. It's time consuming but as you can see. The difference in performance makes it completely worth it plus it's got some more features in it that I could use. And I was going to debate changing the battle system but I figured i'm much better off sticking with the Active battle System

Yea I REALLY hate RPG Maker the only thing is i've gone too far with this game to just drop it and remake it in another engine. But expect much better releases from me in the future in better engines :P

When I first saw the name I thought "NOOOO NOT ANOTHER MINECRAFT REMAKE" but this isn't what I thought mainly cause the way it was made(a side scroller). I'm liking it!

Thank you for that full review! I've been trying to find ways around some of the rpg maker engines restrictions. I even looked into remakin the game in a better engine but ive gotten too far to restart now. If you like what the game has to show so far youll love what's to come!

Not sure why it should be crashing......but I usually fix a lag issue by restarting my computer. It usually runs fine for me after that

Yeah I'm working on the grammar in it it's just taking forever since rpg vx has no in engine grammar checker -_-

Thanks for lettin me know I found the bugs with those quests and why the questlog did not update correctly.
