Playing on 1.4.10 with AO 3 v.4 and often get a CTD when entering or leaving Rostok, Pastebin.com

You could edit the helicopter.ltx file in the gamedata/configs/creatures folder. Open the file and search for fire_wound_immunity and change the value to the right of it (there are about 4 values for different helicopter types, you have to change them all). 0.0 means its invincible, 1.0 you can shoot it down with a slingshot. Hope that helps :).

Hi, I had the same problem, at least one crash every 15 minutes. There is a fix I found on a polish stalker forum (for Freeplay only):
Open the file: configs\scripts\Pripyat\Smart\pri_a16.ltx

search for: stalker_hunter_day
change the line to: stalker_hunter_day_simulation_squad

I've only tested it for an hour or so, but I did not have any crashes so far.

I've got the same problem, CTD when i enter CNPP and all saves in pripyat are corrupted.

yup, same problem for me. only one lonely stalker, Topol and the rest of his crew are nowhere to be found.
