-AI sits in one place
-Objectives are unclear and often skippable, the text disappears too fast.
-Bare arms in snowstorm
-Lack of 'fun' - no vehicles to drive, no complicated bases to wipe out, just endless railroaded terrain full of illogically placed npcs. Why would they be standing there in the middle of the brush?

I reliably go through a 2 crash cycle. First crash crashes to desktop in a recoverable manner, claiming "xrEngine.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "d:\steam\steamapps\common\stalker call of pripyat\bin\xrRender_R2.dll" at 001B:0476D604" The second crash the screen goes black and I have to manually restart my computer.

I'm getting irrecoverable crashes (IE it screws with the resolution such that my screen shuts off) technically to desktop. I think theyre happening when a different weather system loads. Vsync is off, my drivers are updated.

Downloaded and played. A well made but kinda mundane mission. Rather too easy, on normal difficulty. I suggest more enemies, and especially heavier weapons. A Hind or two would help, was would more emplaced machine guns. Considering the Americans come in through the front door guns blazing, seeing enemies wandering around relaxed is a bit odd. Instead of concentrated in deadly numbers, they tend to be in isolated groups of 4, a number easily surprised and wiped out without any risk. I realize the setting is a park, but more watchtowers with snipers might help in both alerting other enemies, providing more threat, and providing more explosive eyecandy (nothing looks cooler then a grenaded tower falling apart.

My previous inability to remember ship names aside, IMO the weapon kad_avatar_heretic looks a bit better with a 5 degree firing cone instead of a 10 degree.

I expected it to be Dreadnought- or Mothership-sized I guess, it looks at first glance like a unimaginably giant squid (which is a good thing!), and the Dreadnought-like armament had me imagining it being that size. The cinematic-style screen-shots to blame.

I love the Avatar (it's so much smaller then the screenshots make it look, I'd thought it was a battlecruiser) but the engine glow effects disappear abruptly at 2.5km camera distance or so.
