Hi there! Currently working on Stargate: Empire at War - Pegasus Chronicles.
Have you installed the mod correctly? What happens if you press the Update button? Do you have the Steam version of the gold pack?
Just as in the series then ;)
No, not campaign yet.
As a Swede I cannot really agree. If you have watched Stargate you will know that the character is used extensively, most likely to contribute to an "exotic" and alien feeling, perhaps connected to Asgard or Ancient languagues.
Lua can handle double-precision floating points.
Sadly I think not, that is not the way the Alamo engine works. I agree it would be more like the series to have a hit effect based on the shield and not the projectiles.
Atleast in Sweden Netflix has got Stargate Atlantis (only).
Thanks for the support! :)
Final 1.3 is for Empire at War, not Forces of Corruption. Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles requires Empire at War and its expansion Forces of Corruption.
To install Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles, download the launcher and let it do all the work for you: Moddb.com
To install SG: EaW Final 1.3, download the Final version: Moddb.com
And the 1.3.1 hotfix: Moddb.com
Sorry for not noticing your post earlier, we rarely check this page's comments.
Did you try redownloading the latest launcher?
Try downloading this version, it should update itself automatically. Moddb.com
Also don't forget to run the launcher as an Administrator.
Spino, please do not attempt to guess things you do not know. We are more than 4 or 5 people still working on Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles.
Interesting. I usually don't comment on other mods, but good luck with a public beta release in the future!
I take it you tried to extract Stargate - Empire at War 1.3 onto Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles (1.0)?
How does the launcher not work? You can either let it download all the patches for you or you can use the manual installation downloads, like this one.
Do not try to mix both.
To download the newest version of Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles (for Forces of Corruption) simply download the launcher that will update the mod for you automatically here: Moddb.com
Alternatively download the full installer that installs the launcher and patches your vanilla EaW and FoC installations as well: Moddb.com
To download the latest version of Stargate - Empire at War (for Empire at War) download 1.3 and the 1.3.1 hotfix: Moddb.com
It should automatically detect where your Forces of Corruption installation is located, if not, please extract it to \o;CDirectory%\Mods\Stargate
Thank you and a Happy New Year to you as well.
There is such a thing right now, however it will not check for and install patches + fixes for the vanilla EaW and FoC for you: Download the launcher and it will update the mod automatically for you: Moddb.com
Mod DB's comment system has always been a mess. It makes random comments appear in different conversations.
This was actually a longtime bug that has been very hard to fix.
It turned out it was completely unrelated to the tech level itself, it was caused by other F-302s blocking Mitchell from being buildable.
Exactly, GC land battles are different from land skirmish. However, if we ever released a GC before a full release we would of course try to include some sort of functional ground battles, be it auto-resolve or some "general" maps to fill out all the gaps.
Sadly you have to understand it is not worth it for us to add another form to the launcher only for such a simple change - it's up to the users themselves to customise their game if they do not like the way we have done it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for more options, but it's simply not worth the time for such a thing. If I would only play singleplayer (and it's possible to have several TPC mods so you can switch between a clean version you can play in MP with and one of your own which is modified) I would also mod it myself.
Thank you for reporting this.
Please send a message to our development group, SGMG: Moddb.com
Forces of Corruption, which requires EaW
The latest hotfix (1.2.1) is out now through our launcher! (Mod DB download awaiting authorisation)
This update makes Supergates once again buildable on vanilla EaW maps and fixes the longtime bug that makes Mitchell unavailable!
We tried to stay as close to cannon as possible, and the SOL is our own design. We do not use fannon designs made by others than ourselves.
The BC-304s do not appear to be as powerful as in the series because there they only had a handful. In our mod you can field around 15 at the same time.
I agree that more realistic flight behaviour would be great, but as someone who worked on SG-1 and the Traveller Frigate (both have fighter flight behaviour but the Traveller ship is not a fighter type ship) I can sadly say it was very hard to get to the point where they are now and along the way we had some really extreme bugs that make it unusable for most larger ships.
This is a limitation of the engine and as we do not have access to gamecode nor engine code we cannot change that.
We cannot be sure, as the time members can spend on the project greatly various over the years.
Thanks for the balancing ideas, but they are quite well balanced as they are.
Yes, I agree, the installer is a mess. However, the launcher is fully capable of installing the mod for you. (You will just have to download 1.0 through the launcher instead of using the installer).
As I said the installer is far from perfect but installing and playing mods usually requires some general knowledge of computers.
Hi, can you please try to delete the file in the VANILLA Data folder, ie \o;CDirectory%\Data\Xml\
Thanks, and good luck.
The unbelievers have been living in the dark shadow that the Ori have imposed upon all those who would stray from the true path. Of course they are inferior and below common logic.
