This is a very good mod with very good graphics and cool vehicle designs. The new faction consortium is also really awesome. And the previous factions, in their revised form, are also fun to play with.
However, the lack of super weapons and naval warfare despite using the YR engine is why I give it 8 out of 10.
Firestorm is a good expansion pack for tiberian sun. It adds a great campaign which has a challenging difficulty and an epic story. Also, the new content of the game is good. It is only for the small amount of new content that this is getting 8/10.
Tiberian Sun is a very good game of the C&C series. It is just the perfect sequel of tiberian dawn, with better graphics, more cool units and a higher level of technology. It is a really great game. The storyline is truly epic. The Missions are very great, especially the mission selection with optional missions. Their difficulty varies from easy to intense. As the story builds up, the player may wonder what will happen next...
However, this is the only game in Tiberium series with a 75% non-canonical campaign. All other Tiberium games have 2 canonical ones.
RA2 is a great game with great balance, a great story, great units (who forgets kirovs?), and, of coarse, great gameplay.
The only flaw is that the campaign does not have suspense unlike MOST other C&C games.
Tiberium Wars is a marvel of command and conquer. With such incredible graphics, challenging campaigns and cool units, there is hardly anything bad about the game. The incredible story is unrivalled by all others in C&C. The factions are... well... balanced. It is a great experience.
Why did I give it a 10/10 while I couldn't give it to anything else? Well... it's simple. The game has hardly any flaws. With the most complicated campaign in the entire series, this game has a wonderful experience. The stunning visuals make it clearer to understand. And the scrin are the real surprises waiting for the player in the campaign. This is the only canon game with aliens. The players then understand what the "Scrin ship" was doing on earth.
This is a great game with the only flaw being the game lag.
This game is graphically superior to its predecessors. It is a great game.
It is indeed true that RA3 deletes the time line of RA2 and YR, but the new timeline is greater than the previous one. It is a very awesome story. The Empire of the rising sun is also an incredible and new faction. It is the the only non-recurring faction with its own campaign in the Red Alert series.
I had always loved naval combat. This game gives us a greater navy, with entire bases on water, so it is impossible to win without a navy. The Air Force is greater.
Red Alert 3 is also the most balanced game in the RA series. Every faction is totally unique.
Unfortunately, the fact that all super weapons are always aimed at our base makes skirmish play painful. Also, I also don't like the fact that all hero units are females.
This is a good mod as it combines YR with FS.
I like the way it adds many new features by mixing up the two games. The naval units for GDI are good enough. And there are some new units for the original 3 factions. However, this mod adds very few new content to any faction. Just two or 3 new units for each side if the navy is excluded. The nod navy has no AA cruiser, and GDI's Orion cruiser is the stupidest ship I've ever seen! It just disobeys your orders and attacks enemy bases instead of incoming aircraft.
Otherwise this mod is good, and gives us the full-scale campaigns of RA2 &YR; with the transmissions.
Good mod. I really liked the new units. And the new cursor etc.
However, the factions must be more balanced. For example, the soviet cube is toooo overpowered. The allied A bomb is one time use only (could be considered a support power). And Yuri should have a spy.
This is a very good mod even with a few bugs.
It has several new units, new heroes and new missions. Also, it will soon have a new faction. I really like N.Korea and it's units as well. We wait for the GLA and Yuri sub factions.
However, the mod is unbalanced. Psychic units can still detect spies and stealth units, which gives HQ a big advantage. Also, Allies don't have gap generator but Yuri does. The campaigns are also extremely difficult. And GLA are supposed to be evil yet they have allied arsenal and fight for the common good! Soviets should have spies.
Otherwie, the mod is good. There are upgraded units for each country and this mod is enjoyable. Good luck!
This is among the greatest mods I've ever played!
To start with, this mod is totally standalone. No need to instal TS or FS to play. Also, this mod adds over a hundred new units. Not only does this improve the original factions, but adds two new factions (names are'nt so new, but the units are). This also adds two to three epic units for each side. Even if it's incomplete, it is awesome! This will deserve a 10/10 when it is done! It will also have campaigns when it's done! And each will have a different timeline.
However, I suggest that you guys fix this: whenever I load a saved game, the resolution goes to the biggest zoom, which is so confusing. Also, none of the hero units (apart from Nemesis and Kodiak) can target aircraft. They should be able to do that. It's a problem especially for nod, whose stealth tanks don't attack aircraft automatically. CABAL and forgotten have AA walkers which can do that.
Othewise this mod is great despite a bug or two.
