Right click on the game, Go to properties, Then click on Set Launch Options (Should be in the General tab by default)

5 years late but, this was apparently a developer branch version. He disables campaign mode or what ever with this version.

I know its like 10 years to late, but heres some closure

the Shortcut works. If you own it through steam, you have to tell it to look for the game where ever you've actually got it located. for example the following:

TARGET: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\RomeTW.exe" -show_err -mod:SWTW -enable_editor

You can do this by simply finding where u have it installed, Right click on the Application, then go properties, then copy the location. Just make sure to tack on the name of the application with the .exe prefix (like this: RomeTW.exe)

That will make the Shortcut work.

NOTICE: The shortcut may use the INCORRECT path to the game if own it thru steam.

HOWEVER i changed mine to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold

And all the shortcut does is Open that folder, should i set it to include one of the EXEs? Should it look like

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\RomeTW.exe

i've likely already tried this by the time i get a response so i'll let you guys know.

I was wondering if this mod adds in Infantry? I have actually seen infantry in the game but the mod it was connected to never got released. it'd be an interesting thing to add specially if a full set of models were made and the ACU blueprints were limited to more or less reduce all players to infantry type units first then progress up the tiers

furthermore the jukebox seems to recognize only 3 of my songs and im unsure of how to change the name so i know what song is playing (as i renamed the songs to track1 track2 etc just incase). says some aren't mp3 even though the properties say they are. just lettin you know

Although it would be cool to have small place-able barricades , nothing huge as to completely npc proof a hall way, but big enough that players can have something they can use to enhance a room or hallway just a little (but i can understand if this may not be possible, old tech)

like the wall the seperated the first area from the stairs (in Tomb, or the wall the seperated the main area from the area with the gargantua room (which as i recall at the time was blank space suitable for four people to bottle neck the npcs in) and the wall that separated the main area from the elevator (which i felt should blocked only the elevator)those were awesome.

well, that is very interesting. i was unaware of the time period of OPTRE, figured spartans were either a thing or not a thing and even if they weren't it would still be cool to see any spartan armor, not just MKIV let alone MKIV in blue. i just hope if they do Spartan Armor, that its super durable.

wait u worked on RVB? NEAT OMG!!! but, i don't play online nor team kill. and yeah i know what they were, but technically they were in "spartan" armor. besides, Caboose was liek... the best outta all of them, 2nd was church, third tucker, sarge, grif, simmons ETC. but the only reason i say MKIV Armor set is cuz its the most different one in some of the later seasons. hey, i hope u don't mind me askin but why did the girl who played tex quit roster teeth? apparently she said screw these guys i've had enough then resigned. were they just bein jerks? anyways, besides, after RVB, me and a lot of the fans i kno keep revering to the helmet it self, not the armor, just the helm, as the retard helmet, kinda does look like a good helmet for hilarious moments, ridiculousness or general stupidity.

u have never seen RVB have u? i want blue so i can be Caboose. master chief is cool but he isn't a funny team killing retard. yes i realize that wanting to be Caboose is a dream as stupid as caboose is. but green would be nice to see, but there should be all the colors and armors.

try uninstalling Base Defense then reinstalling it. Where it says "install to which folder?" or what ever it was and find your Half-Life folder, now i am not sure how it is for you but for me its in Common, but not sure how it will be for you.... but.... (C:) Programfiles (X86) *or which ever it is for you*/ steam/steamapps/yoursteamname/halflife goodluck ;)

some what confused... i came back to desura cause i missed playing Frozen Nightmare and now it looks like its gone... not looking for a refund... just wondering what ever happened to the idea's i suggested to ya? and when will i ever see that game again?

i think this there needs to be a store for those armor pieces you get after completing the first three quests, i hate dying after completing the quests because then i only get the armor pieces on a rare occasion. but don't get rid of those quests, they are fun as hell!!! so far, so good. PLutRUS, keep up the good work! (and sorry if i sounded like i was complaining)
