a blast to play, Occupation makes FPS PvP really worth playing. enough dynamicness and realism to keep it enjoyable, no matter how long you play it. some inconsistencies that detract sometimes, but generally it plays really well.

the demo was interesting, and for a while i didn't notice that the first large release of 1187 had come out, and it seems i was missing out, for sure. most of what's been done here, i wasn't aware source was capable of. if you thought COD, battlefield, or anything is immersive, 1187 is so much more. the firearms are done very well, everything but the enemies you're fighting is pretty realistic (since they're aliens!).
it would be very difficult to make a better single player source mod than this. there are many other good single player source mods, but this just tops the pyramid.
doing the crash course map alone shows how immersive and well done this mod is. the work to get to this point, is obviously to a good end and was worth it.
