Thanks for adding the .ppe effector files for the 'apparitions' INSIDE Lab X-16! The atmosphere in X-16 was killed when the devs used the effect there. Not sure if 'psy_antenna.ppe. is supposed to work outside X-16 as there's still apparitions there. If you can remove the apparitions outside X-16 please!

Thanks so much for the work having a blast with your textures. I'm running on 'DX9 Enhanced' no issues with many hours of gameplay.

Using the full large version and runs perfectly on my machine. No issues after 40 hours of game play and very nice textures!

Additionally just merged 2k textures into 'Autumn Aurora Texture Add on-Preferred ATM' and works great as well.

I've been playing since AA2 first release and love the mod very much. 10/10 imo.

I've reverted a couple things back to AA2 style but I really miss the 'HUMAN HAND' menu cursor!! :)

Thought it was in 'gamedata/textures/ui' but I don't know which one it is and I tried several with no luck. Any ideas which file it is?

I keep backups and have an AA2 directory I borrow some older features such as the binocs. I was wondering how to get the 'Human Hand' menu cursor back? If I recall the file should be in 'gamedata/textures/ui' but I don't know which one it is. Tried a few of them with no luck yet. Do you know which file it is?

Yea I placed the lines in the binoc.ltx. The sound's are gone, which is cool, but the brackets that point out the npc's are still there. If you have any other ides please let me know.

OK I see what setting's file you're referring too. Getting closer!:)
The file located in: gamedata/configs/weapons/w_binoc LTX. By changing the values the detection sound is gone but the brackets still show up :/
The bracket's kill it for me so would be lovely if they could be removed somehow....

Thank's for the input.... I tried your suggestion and placed the lines of text in the "user" ltx but it didn't work for some reson. Tried it in clear sky "User" too and doesn't work there either. I double checked everything plus copy and pasted:

vis_frame_color = 0.7,0.7,0.7,0.0
found_snd = $no_sound
catch_snd = $no_sound

Any other Ideas?

Sorry if this was already covered here.....

Does anyone know how to turn off the Bracket's placed around NPC's while using the binoculars? I been searching info for week's and learned how to enable or disable them in SOC via: gamedata/config/weapons/vision_present=true. But doing the above in CS or COP eliminates the whole binocular texture:(

ANY help or link to info would be greatly appreciated.
