That was caused by modding and modelling limitations.
That was caused by modding and modelling limitations.
A modding limitation normally prevents mods from having more than 10 digsites unlocked in Site B mode. I guess it can be bypassed by adding stars (since it doesn't come up in Operation Genesis or the exercises), or you can use the "Open to the Public" cheat (http://www.cheatbook.de/files/jurpog.htm), that does the trick for me.
The downloads classified as patches need to be installed over the previous version. Downloads classified as "full version" are independent and can be installed right away.
Vanilla game = unmodded
Can't replicate your situation, sorry.
The gamemodes work fine when I tested a fresh installation of v1.03 into a vanilla copy.
That's odd, Mantellisaurus shows up fine when I tested a fresh install of v1.03 into a vanilla copy.
Just tested a fresh install of v1.03 into a vanilla copy, and it works fine on me.
Will test and look into it soon
I'll try to look into it when I can put some time into JPOG.
Checked in the final exercise?
Here it is: Mediafire.com
:)
Alamosaurus is available in the exercises.
40 dinosaur species.
Did you install it correctly, overwriting when needed? It works fine for me and many others, so something must have went wrong.
Oh, will try to remedy that situation soon.
You currently need to install v1.02 then the v1.03 patch. The full v1.03 will be uploaded soon, couldn't get it on sooner due to the past few weeks being quite busy.
That was due to modelling limitations at the time it was made.
That's odd, it never happened to me when I tested the mod. Is the problem present in the vanilla game?
You have to replace another pre-existing sound. The game cannot really handle additional sounds for some reason.
That's odd. Never got a crash-upon-new-game thing at all. Do your previous saves work? Did you overwrite everything when asked? What other mods do you have installed?
The added dinosaurs are in the exercises. There's this pesky 40-dinosaur limit per park that nobody has cracked as of now.
Did you overwrite everything when asked when installing? Did you install this patch over v1.02? You may have messed something up since it works fine during testing, skins and all. As for crashing, what were you doing exactly?
I don't know what you mean by "covered with ants". Care to elaborate?
The Shantungosaurus skin is found in the same TML as the Albertosaurus. You have to place it in a site that uses the Judith River A TML (the site "Scollard & Horseshoe Canyon Formations" in this mod) or have it unlocked first ;)
The problem is that you apparently placed it in Hell Creek B (which is just "Hell Creek" in this mod) to replace Edmontosaurus, which makes it skinless since it's skin isn't in the Hell Creek B TML.
I took advantage of the fact that Pachycephalosaurus is present in both TML's. The Judith River A and Hell Creek B TML's have the same TML header, thus their skins can be mixed-and-matched, which allowed me to place Shantungosaurus along with Saichania and Chingkangkousaurus, and to place Ankylosaurus in Hell Creek along with Triceratops and Edmontosaurus.
Did you overwrite when asked?
They're still the high-resolution versions, since I had to fix and rearrange some skins first for this one before I could start making the low-res patch.
You have to replace another dinosaur to fit one of the exercise exclusives into Operation Genesis mode.
Unfortunately no, the reason they're exercise exclusives in the first place and not in the normal Operation Genesis mode is due to that 40 dinosaur species limit.
Well, it does. However, it does appear that modding in new buildings is quite limited. You're pretty much limited to copies of existing buildings with different textures and FX, more feeders, and decorations such as tombstones and statues.
Release of v1.03 is getting delayed. Working on some new additions that are taking quite some effort to get it nice and working. Guess what it is?
The Alamosaurus and Anzu are from the Tendaguru TML. You have to place them in the Tendaguru or Bahariya B formations.
The Deinocheirus is from the Chenini TML.
Do the Alamosaurus and Anzu work fine on the exercise? If so, I think you may have messed something up with adding them to the DinoList and FslHunt ini's.
Yes, just edit the FslHunt.ini ;)
